Bijapur, 70 kilometres to the north, may be right up your alley. You can use it as a port of call when swinging by the Bijapur Golgumbaz, Ibrahim Rauza and Sangeeta Mahal. If you'd like more persuading, other nearby sights include Sat Manzil and the Citadel.
