They had a substandard shower with virtually no pressure whatsoever, and the restaurant was closed. Most people would just say jump in your car I get it however I'm on the road with an RV and unhooking my toad vehicle is not all that easy since I'm handicapped and my handicap also kept me from walking to a restaurant

Great place for a reasonable price.
Compared to some more "big chain motel" like places I've stayed at in Bakersfield, this place is amazing, and not much more expensive, so a great value for this area. One thing to beware of, the breakfast buffet is not free, but I didn't realize that until after I took the food. That said, the quality was also much better than the typical motel free breakfast.

Staff was friendly & very accommodating with my check-in time. Also my father went to the hospital hours away & they let me cancel the extra day of my reservation so I could head home Saturday afternoon. Bed was comfy & cool. Room was clean & the shower had excellent warm/hot water temperature & strong water pressure.
