Serviced Apartments in Balclutha

This was the most luxurious accommodation we have stayed at in a long time. Not only was it perfect and indulgent, our hosts were amazing. We appreciated every attention to detail, even treating us in the morning by our first names as we got coffee. They made us feel welcome and part of the family.

Great stay. Had used this motel last year so was familar with the property. Can’t fault it. Kaka Point is an awesome spot too.

I had the pleasure to visit the Catlins again this year so took the opportunity to stay agsin in Surat as well this accommodation. The owner very friendly & helpful. It’s a great wee spot & property has awesome views of the sea & bay area. Large grounds as well with outdoor seating. Definitely will stay another time.

This stay was exactly what we were looking for as a group of young adults needing a place to stay for a friends wedding. Property manager was easy to work with and very friendly. The house itself suited our needs perfectly with comfy beds and appliances that are up to date! Couldn’t recommend more

About as kiwi as you can get, Like staying at a nice place on the 70's but with good internet. No fuss. Very clean and comfy rooms. If you complain about this joint you're probably a deeply unhappy person.

Second time staying here and although the weather was, again, less than great, it was still a great time and the units and overall space are still really well maintained. Surat Bay is accessible and, further along, so is cannibal bay. Owaka nearby is also a lovely spot for an hour or two, with a solid restaurant, great coffee place, superb book shop and quaint little museum and community space. It is a beautiful spot, far from the world where all you'll hear are birds, the sea and wind moving through water ... And rain! Lots of rain! But without the rain, you wouldn't get that lush kiwi green.
