House Rules
To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, please follow these guidelines:
Be Nice: Treat our staff and contractors like the rockstars they are.
Smoking: Allowed only outdoors, away from doors and windows. Don’t worry, the plants won’t mind.
No Firearms: Leave your slingshots and cannons at home.
No Fireworks: Because we don’t want your holiday to end with a bang (literally).
No Illegal Activities: We’re not running a crime drama here.
Keep It Down: Channel your inner ninja and keep noise levels reasonable.
Guest Limit: Only the number of guests listed in the booking can stay overnight. No sneaky sleepovers.
No Parties: Let’s keep it cosy, not crazy.
Pets: Only dogs are allowed at our properties, and only with prior approval. Check the listing for specific pet rules—Fido deserves a holiday too, but only if we've given the green light!

Upon Check-Out
Dishes: Wash and put away. Pretend you’re at home and your mum is watching.
Turn Off: All lights, heaters, and coolers. Help us save the planet.
Pet Cleanup: Don’t leave us any surprises.
Clean BBQ: If you used it, give it a scrub. We love a good BBQ, but not the cleanup.
Trash: Put it in the correct bins outside. Channel your inner recycling guru.
Linens: Don’t wash them. Seriously, we’ve got it covered.
If these rules are broken, we may have to cancel your stay with no refund. We really don’t want to do that.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned cottage, featuring a kitchen with an oven and a stovetop. There's a private balcony. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Conveniences include a microwave and a washing machine, and housekeeping is provided on a limited basis.

Weekend in Ballarat
Beautiful little house to stay in for the weekend visiting Sovreign Hill. 3 bedrooms plus a 4th set up as a nursery. It was bliss not needing to bring a portacot, highchair or any of the other baby stuff. It was all here. So clean and lots of lovely inclusions such as butter, hot chocolate sachets etc. Another review mentioned some of the bedroom doors don’t close but we didn’t find this a problem. There are cute little weighted bags and we just used these to stop it swinging open. Things like this are par for the course with older character accommodation. The driveway and carport between the house and next door’s accommodation seemed to be used by either property, which we weren’t expecting. Just be aware you may not have off street parking if next door parks their car in the carport. There is ample street parking out front. Highly recommend nearby CaaWaa Chinese Restaurant for a quick takeaway dinner option- delicious food. 1 walk through the fruit market carpark to Skipton St Bakery Cafe for a nice morning coffee. We would not hesitate to stay here again. It had absolutely everything we needed and was lovely and clean. Many thanks for having us.

Great location, cute house but beyond cold
The location is great the house is cute and well set up but not a place to bring little babies. We brought our twin boys and the house was freezing cold, the split system died the second night we were there and the fire place was only fit to heat the main room. The owner left portable heaters and we had to pile everyone in the same room to keep warm. The doors dont close or jammed shut which left it hard to put kids asleep. One of the rooms smelled badly of dampness. The house would be ideal in nice weather but its cold, damp and drafty for this time of year. Loved ballarat but wouldnt stay there again.
