If Service With a Smile Were a Hotel
My family had to cancel our reservations at a different hotel due to it not being up to par and Hyatt Place was just what we needed! We arrived and encountered top notch service. The accommodations were nice (the kids loved the pool!), but the absolute best part of our stay was the lovely staff. I can't say enough about how warm and welcoming every member of the staff was. I had some unorthodox needs that were met with a yearning to help, even with me needing a quiet space to work in the middle of the night. They were helpful with everything! At the desk, I got help from everyone who I encountered. Sheryl helped me out with a smile after I enjoyed a lovely breakfast, organized by Marty. I plan to return to this area to visit in the future (we live in Europe), and we have already determined that we will stay at Hyatt Place every time!

First of all, we got to our room and there was a poopy clogged toilet after 8 hours on the road we had to use the bathroom and couldn’t so we left and notified the front desk of what happened they said it would be dealt with, when we came back in 3 hours it was still clogged and had poop in it we called down and after waiting 20 minutes for someone to pick up they said maintenance had left for the day but they left us a plunger! Thank god! Plunging someone else’s poop is so great! Later that evening couldn’t shower couldn’t get water because maintenance shut the water off when they left so that was another GREAT thing… the halls of the building smelled like marijuana and there were very unsavoury characters around the floors. I will never return to Baltimore nor this hotel in particular. Breakfast was okay however the French toast they serve is beyond beyond beyond good! Pool is freezing cold

NEVER AGAIN!
I will never stay at this hotel again. The water was turned off from midnight to 6 AM. I was not notified this upon check-in. I found out when I tried to use the bathroom and could not flush the toilet nor could I wash my hands, the phone in the room did not work to call the front desk so I had to use my cell phone. The front desk said they’re working on it completely unacceptable horrible experience for my son and I. I have a video but they will only allow me to show pictures . Very upsetting

Nice hotel, clean room, very good breakfast and very clean area with good food, but the elevators vere terrible. I had room #410 and the buttons up and down didn't work. I had to wait forever when it stops on the 4th floor plus it was only one working elevator out of two. Terrible.
