Don't be tricked
The house condition was unacceptable, holes in the wall, outlets missing covering, mold in the carpet busted furniture. The host, Fred agreed to provide a refund when we spoke on the day of check-in; a few minutes later, his wife called denying the refund. We did not stay at the location because of its condition. The owner's wife insulted me by asking," Did you want to cancel because the home is in a black neighborhood''—no apology or willingness to come and resolve this matter professionally. She hung up on me. I gave the host and his wife two opportunities to resolve this matter and refund my money 100%, I called again on June 10th and was offered 50%, but it was an unfair offer considering the situation. I have plenty of pictures to show what my family went through.
