Very underwhelming - won’t be back
King room smaller than expected - photos are misleading. What little is not old and worn, is the least acceptable new replacement. A giant TV was the standout but the remote was intermittently inoperable.
New toilets were being installed - as evidenced by the pallet of them just outside the office - but one in my room was improperly installed and the lid would not stay up. As a man who prefers to use the toilet standing up at least some of the time, this was inconvenient. The floor around the base was also always damp, leading me to guess it was leaking.
Hot water pressure and temperature were both next to non-existent in the shower but very hot and forceful in the sink. The sink drain plug had been removed but was on the counter. But, it didn’t seal when reinstalled.
Only one bath towel was provided, but two hand towels and washcloths. I don’t mind re-using a towel, but if I’d had my wife with me, it would have necessitated a trip to get another towel.
King bed was comfortable, but would have benefited from a third pillow as the two provide were queen size. The table, chairs and dresser were very old and worn and looked shabby.
The small refrigerator worked well, but the freezer was so frozen over that little would fit in it. I had considered some ice cream from the nearby grocery store but glad I didn’t as it would been a waste.
Dark wooden laminate flooring is attractive but needs deeper cleaning. The dark wood apparently hides it well - my socks not so much.
