My stay was too much work!
My experience started out bad. Was on a 5 night road trip & Bandon Inn was my most expensive hotel. Pulled up to hotel & no parking spaces unless one wanted to walk a bit with your luggage then thankfully a space came open. A bus was parked taking 1/3 of better spaces. Once parked didn’t want to loose my precious spot so asked hostess where could I order a pizza for delivery. She said she knows of no delivery places, that since COVID, places stopped delivering(?). Googled it and sure enough no delivery. So asked if some place was close I could walk to for food. Yes but down a big hill. Didn’t want to walk up hill after getting food so gave up my precious parking space. Took a few tries (few restaurants offered takeout food) but did get something. Just irritated me how food service in Bandon is so inflexible. Another thing that irritated me was hostess gave me breakfast menu with choices. She said pick what I want & they will pack in bag for the morning. I travel a fair bit & haven’t seen this bag thing since COVID. Either the Bandon Inn is in a COVID time warp or they found this cold breakfast in a bag more economical. Reading their info sheet they said they don’t clean rooms of stay overs & there was a big yellow Biohazard bag hanging next to hangers in my room. Just too weird. In fairness my room was clean & comfortable but I left Bandon Inn thinking this is a hotel & town that is quite full of itself. They are an isolated market & can pretty much do as they please.

We liked how close the property was to activities, but unfortunately we were put in a room that was meant for those who have pets when we did not have a pet at all. The shower ran luke warm and had no pressure, and our room lacked any view. For the price we were hoping for some better amenities.

Really needs a refresh. Common areas looking sad. There was no privacy curtain or door screen so it was difficult to keep door open for cool air without inviting in insects. Need either a screen or light mesh curtains. Room felt very cramped. Nice that the front desk and gift/convenience shop was open 24 hrs. Breakfast was ok, not great w/no hot options compared to other inns at this price.

Perfect location, walkable to Old Town Bandon with awesome view of the bay. Perfectly packed choice of breakfast items so we can enjoy in our room. Wonderful staff! Very nicely updated bathrooms. Second visit for us and will definitely come back.
