The staff that helped with check-in was not the friendliest and emphasized that we booked through a third party website, which I am not sure why that mattered? The location of the hotel, in my opinion, is the best of all the hotels in Banff. Located 5 minutes by car, or 30 minutes of walking; it wasn't too close to all the downtown crowds, but also not too far that it would be a long drive. We stayed in a premier room which had a working fireplace and heated floors. The bathroom was huge with a shower and clawfoot bathtub. We liked that the backdoor gave views to the mountains and to a trail about half a mile down. Fair warning, the room got pretty hot at night so we slept with the windows open while it was 0 degrees Celsius outside.

This room was so beautiful. Room 1205 is a great location right across from the outdoor hot tub and 1 minute walk to main building and restaurant. The room was spotless, and had all the main amenities you need. You can tell that special care is put into upkeep. The staff were so accommodating and happy!! We will definitely be going back in the summer and bringing our dog!

I unfortunately didn’t have the time to eat at the restaurant, but I wish I did as I had a $25 credit and the food looked amazing! The staff, especially the ones working the front desk, were the most hospitable people I have ever met at any of the hotels I have stayed at in Banff which is a tough feat to accomplish. Incredible place to stay I cannot recommend enough! The room is the most ideal for staying in Banff as it has that kind of character that you’re seeking when visiting the area. 10/10 best place to stay in Banff I cannot recommend enough I finally found my home away from home that I have been searching for in Banff.

The place is nice, clean. I've stayed here twice so far in the last month. Very hospitable staff, Ady was able to sort out a small issue promptly and took care of us at the property. I will definitely come back a third time.
