The resort was nothing fancy but do have everything anyone staying in Banff would need, the waterpark and outdoor hot tub was a plus.
Beds were comfortable enough, again nothing fancy, kitchen was usable but have a few fail, like range hood and one of the stove top does not work, regardless we made due with what’s working remaining, I was able to make a few quick meal. The loft idea was great for my family of 6 with two bath, and we enjoyed the fireplace as well.
My only complain is really the service, housekeeping was available daily, but all they do is come in and replace your towels, they do zero cleaning and don’t replace anything else; and despite me telling them many times I have 6 ppl, they always only give us 4 bath towels each day they service our room, I had to walk back to front desk to get extra towels every time. Front desk ladies are always friendly though.
Location was great, bus station right across us (if you need it and they have free bus passes), an amazing restaurant “The Prow” right across the street (must try). We had a car and it’s like 5 mins drive to downtown where everything was available, from cafe to restaurants to bubble tea, and grocery stores, excellent location for the price we paid. Parking was quite tight but it’s underground so pretty sweet as we went during winter. Would book again in a heartbeat if I want to stay within a budget.
