Exceptional Stay at Dorothy Motel
I had an exceptional experienced at the Dorothy Motel! The room was spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The location was peaceful yet close to everything I needed. I loved the cozy outdoor area, and the hot pool—such a nice touch! I’ll definitely stay here again. Highly recommended! 👌

Rooms are clean, tidy and more roomy than they look, staff are excellent, had problem in room so spoke to front desk was fixed in 15 mins, you also get to use amenities at other hotels in Banff that are owned by the same company

Stayed there for a night. Room was clean and quiet. All amenities were there. Hotel has ample parking space. Check-in check-out was smooth as well. As core downtown is around 1.5 km they provided us free transit passes without asking. Overall a nice stay.

Bring some slippers if you stay during the winter months. The floor were a little chilly. ( - the bathroom, which had in floor heating). Room was nicely renovated. There are no immediate amenities. However, you have. Access to the amenities at the Canoe hotel across the street.

Comfortable beds, a weird shower though to be honest. Kept stubbing our toes. Some weird cut out on the floor in the shower to drain the water. Stayed in a 2 bed Queen Room. Staff very friendly, quiet area. We stayed 2 nights. Also check the conditioner and shampoo as we had to ask for housekeeping to refill which don’t get completed unfortunately. We told the staff when we checked out as I didn’t want to complain again. I would recommend this hotel and we have stayed here in the past.

Property was clean and room was very nice, but the make-up air fan was noisy and the the heater is overwhelmingly noisy and you we have no way to turn down the fan and if we lower it the AC comes on
