Rated this hotel as excellent in all major categories with 1 minor complaint and a few comments regarding accessibility to the downtown hot spots. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable, the only issue being that the shower would sputter loudly, and then resume with an intense water flow before normalizing again. Also, we had stayed the first 5 nights in a more expensive hotel closer to downtown within walking distance from everything we needed. However, the Fox Hotel did provide free bus passes that stopped at all the prime spots in downtown every 20 minutes. So its a cost versus convenience factor.

Fox was perfectly located with free parking on site. Would highly recommend this place and we will be back. The rooms were slightly small but no upgrade was available when we arrived

We liked that it was close enough to town to walk and they provided free bus ticket for Roam if we wanted to ride. The bar was perfect for when we got back at night to have a cocktail and relax - staff was amazing.

It was just OK. Only food option in the hotel was Chili's. Front desk staff was great. This hotel could use a facelift...it is getting old and tired looking. Very limited staff around. We booked a King Superior suite....there was nothing "superior" about it. The balcony faced the other rooms and a bunch of tall pine trees.

The rooms were very small. Nowhere to put our suitcases. Placed on the beds to open them, then had to place them at side of bed. No drawer space, just a few small shelves. No easy chair in room -No room for one. Little hanging space. Terrible menu in dining room, just a series of variations of burgers. Staff were friendly. No lounge area, just four easy chairs by Reception. Not a good buy.

Convenient location to town, hot tub was a nice experience, was able to check in early. Walkable to town. The hotel is beginning to show it's wear however but not too bad.

Close to downtown strip but far away enough from the crowds. Parking was free & free bus service to downtown as VIP member was nice. Rooms were small & did not have a refrigerator or air conditioning (we did not need). Pool & hot tub open to outside which was unique.

Highly recommend. A family of four enjoyed 3 night stay at this hotel. Location is wonderful, walking distance to all the Banff town can offer and at a relative quiet end of the main street. The town shuttle stop is right in front of the hotel. Cave-style hot spa is a good heal and relax experience. Our suite room is spacious and well maintained. The entire hotel is lodge style which itself is a beauty. Staff is friendly.
