Hotel smelt like weed. Front desk claimed it was a skunk but it lingered into the next morning in the halls once certain doors were opened for cleaning. There were old ladies screaming all night and morning long. Front desk claimed it was "a bunch of boomers who didnt care about others around them and trying to live out their wild years." Our heater was broken and leaking. It would get so hot in there that we had to shut the heater off completely and it leaked all over the floor so the carpet was soaked. We couldn't use that side of the room without shoes on. They sent maintenance in to fix it while we were gone in the morning. When we came back in the afternoon, there was a huge loud fan. Couldn't hear anything over the fan. Then maintenance walked right in our room while i was getting ready to feed my 2 month old. Not a pleasant experience and i don't suggest anyone with a young family to stay here. We weren't offered a different room or any compensation.

We enjoyed our stay at the Country Inn. It was clean and quiet and close to all the shops my friend and I wanted to go to. The free breakfast had some nice options as well. We would stay here again next time we go to Bangor.

Good location to shopping and restaurants. Great breakfast and had gluten free options. Gf muffin and protein bar. Breakfast had eggs, sausages, ham, breads, cereal, yogurt, waffles, oatmeal, drinks. Lots! The room was clean. The shower pressure was good but the water was not hot. Warm at best and after 3 or 4 minutes in the shower it got cold. The bed was harder than i normally am used to, but adequate pillows and blankets. I never watched the tv so not sure what channel selection was like. Friendly staff at front desk.
