Great place to stay while adventuring in Acadia
Great view of the bay in Northern Bar Harbor. Beautiful sunrise. Room was fantastic. Quiet, comfortable. Enough amenities to be worthwhile. Spent most of my time in Acadia National Park, but my nights were pleasant. It’s 15 minutes from downtown so not really a walkable distance.

Great place to stay while adventuring in Acadia

the property was recently remodeled. rooms are large and beds are very comfortable. unfortunately bath/shower was old and did not work well. AC is also very loud.

Pleasant stay
Good location just out of town, with distant views of the ocean and a nice pool. Rooms have low ceilings but have been recently refurbished and are clean and tidy. Large chest of drawers but no wardrobe or hanging space. Free morning coffee and ‘grab and go’ breakfast.

Bar harbor
Very beautiful place. Off the beaten path. Nicely remodeled. I was not able to check in early like I usually able to do. Staff was friendly. The pool was amazing and a very nice selection for a continental breakfast. Some suggestions for the rooms are to have a microwave a keurig coffee pot better lighting and more than one trash can. Beautiful decor and really comfy bed. Amazing views n grounds. We would stay there again.

Staff were helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Although the rooms, especially the bathrooms, are dated, many cosmetic updates have been made, making this quaint motel a winner all the way around. Unlike most hotels/motels of the day, daily maid service still happens! What a nice surprise! The heated pool (nice and warm for cool Maine summer nights) was sparkling and welcoming after a hard day of hiking Acadia. The location on the main road into Bar Harbor, but away from the hustle and bustle and high prices of downtown made it affordable. We will definitely return!
