We love our stay here. Don was so helpful about all questions that we had. Spectacular place for sunsets. So so many harbor seals from our balcony. Saw a whale too. Very dark at night for great star watching.
Beautiful view of the water, nice cabin and comfy bed. Nice messages with suggestions for the area from the property owner. We enjoyed staying on this side of Acadia and wouldn’t hesitate doing that again even though it is a drive. This side of Acadia is much nicer in my opinion! We did however encounter way too many spiders in the cabin. Between that, the cobwebs, dirty floors, dusty walls and the air conditioning wouldn’t work correctly. When my husband cleaned the air filter it was covered in a thick layer of dust. Hot water heater was enough for one shower in the morning. My husband had to wait an hour after I showered for the water to warm up. Also for the price it would have been nice to have a microwave in the room.
My stay here was absolutely phenomenal. I highly recommend it. Was able to relax and explore. Let's put it this way.I didn't want to leave. It's a must on your adventures
We stayed 2 nights. The room was ready when we arrived. There is NO tv in the room. The fan motor in the bathroom had a delayed start and may need replacing or lubrication. The window was old and didnt completely close. It did have a portable AC unit and was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The view of the harbor from the front deck was amazing. The young man at the desk was very nice.
I liked the owner's hand-off approach. Honor system on food, fridge and beer. Everyone was very nice both the guests and the owners. It probably isn't a place for children as there isn't even a TV which was fine with me. The entire area is super dog friendly. If you stay, be sure to walk to the ocean during low tide it is incredibly peaceful.
Absolutely incredible! Our experience with the Bluff House Inn was top notch. Our cabin was immaculately clean and comfortable bed. The view of Arcadia National Park and the bay from our porch was breathtaking. Our host provided recommendations for travel tips in the park and places to eat. Highly recommend.
The view was awesome, so beautiful, nothing like it! Owners very gracious, liked the way they sent text messages recommending places to go and eat. They were spot on. WiFi was good. Only down was no tv but really who cares.
The views from the porch were amazing, we loved watching the sunset! The coffee cake at breakfast was delicious.

Extraordinary sunset
The cabin was spotless. Felt new. The view is spectacular for the sunset. Sitting on the porch relaxing and watching the sunset was a highlight. The recommendations from Don the owner were excellent. His “do not miss” suggestions were great.
This is a rustic Maine property and the current owners have done a nice job of promoting that aspect. Great views and super original artwork in the main inn. It doesn't translate to the cabins, but those are very quaint and workable. I would love to come back in the fall when colors are out and try these again. Winter Hbr. and Schoodic ANP are a short drive away and must see attractions. Friendly owners and accommodating.
Our stay was amazing. Great room with a view overlooking the ocean. The breakfast was wonderful as well as the blueberry muffins. Great staff with an awesome recommendation for hiking. We would have liked to have had a fridge in the room but overall its an amazing place to stay.
The view from the hotel/inn is amazing. The place is peaceful, and the staff are hardworking and kind. It is a great place to stay if one wants to be near Schoodic peninsula.
