This place actually exceeded our expectations. It looks like the owners are still in the process of making improvements, hence less than 5 stars, but the customer service was amazing. Located toward the outside of the busy city center, everything was still very walkable and very close to Acadia. Would stay here again.

My room was extremely clean, quiet and comfortable. Reception staff was friendly, and very accommodating. Wish there was some hot food available for breakfast. Good selection of coffee, and hot cider was available, too. The Seasider was very conveniently located with Rtes. 3 and 233 right outside the door, making it very easy to get around the island, and going downtown in Bar Harbor. Overall wonderful experience.

We enjoyed our stay at the Seasider. It was clean. The room had nice pillows, towels and mattresses. I liked the laminated flooring in the room. I get creeped out by carpeting in hotel rooms. We had a balcony but didn't really use it because the weather was cool. We liked the simple breakfast in the lobby and looked forward to the cookies or brownies they put out in every afternoon. Front desk people were friendly. Super convenient location for driving to Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor. We had a 7 night stay and we had no complaints about anything.

Had an issue with the key card system that delayed us 10 minutes from checking in. The rooms could use some updating. Especially the paint peeling on the bathroom ceiling. That being said, we would stay here again
