The rooms were well-decorated and adequately stocked, although ours had an unpleasant sewage odor. The location is excellent. We encountered an issue on our second night when the A/C was set above our preferred temperature, and we were unable to adjust it from within the room (the first night had been comfortable).
I approached the front desk and found two gentlemen there, one of whom seemed to have just finished his shift (I believe his name was Don). I politely asked if we could lower the temperature a bit, but his response was unexpectedly rude. He remarked, “You Americans always do this, the temperature is perfect.” I explained that while the temperature had been perfect the previous night, it was too warm this evening.
Despite this, he continued to suggest that the issue was with us, not the room or the hotel. Eventually, he adjusted a global temperature regulator to match the setting from the previous night, but his attitude remained extremely rude, judgmental, and unprofessional.
