Small, decorated with taste, very attentive personnel. We were welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine or lemon water, seated while being registred, city Map given with instructions for meals, places to see, etc. Rooms are well designed, marbled bathrooms. Only 14 rooms....wonderful!

Maldà Singular Hotel was very central to the tourist area of Barcelona in a vibrant area full of markets, restaurants, cafes, tapas bars, etc and close to all the tourist buses. However, when you enter the hotel on the second floor, it's so peaceful that you would never know about the hustle and bustle outside. The hotel is really well appointed, the staff are very helpful, the beds extremely comfortable and the shower hot and plentiful. And the hotel is very accessible. The staff organised a taxi to pick us up from the laneway outside the hotel. We will definitely recommend this property.

Spacious, Comfortable Room. Excellent Location!
This was a very comfortable hotel for my 4-night stay in Barcelona. The room was quite large, and divided into a ‘sitting’ area and a ‘sleeping’ area. Big comfortable bed. Nice and spacious shower. I appreciated the Nespresso machine, as well as a kettle. The couch in the ‘sitting’ area did have some pretty glaring and unsightly stains, but I avoided sitting on those. Good proximity to the Ramblas and La Boqueria, and just a short walk to the cathedral or Licieu Metro station. Strangely placed above an indoor mall/shopping center, but easy enough to find. Staff were helpful and allowed me to leave my bag for a couple hours after checkout. Would definitely stay here again.

I thought the room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. It was so quiet at night time. The hotel is in such a good position. Close to so many sites and gorgeous streets. The staff were helpful and complimentary. Would definately recommend.

The staff was very nice. The only issue was making sure the taxi was going to drop us off right in front of the place. The streets are narrow and some taxis dont like to travel down the narrow streets.
