Perfect location, lovely facilities and staff..the renovations are now complete although rooms are now a bit dark and there are some minor repairs to be done - our glass bathroom door wouldn’t close so reduced the privacy even further. Still a great hotel though lovely roof terrace and everything within walking distance. First class

Staff was incredible! Top notch! Always helpful, smiling and going above the norm. Room was perfect, with upgrade to corner. Housekeeping and turndown service daily. Rooftop deck, pool and bar had a view of Barcelona, great drinks and food. So much within easy walking distance from shopping to food to attractions. If looking for that special stay in Barcelona, choose the Grand! Thank you to the staff that reminded me that excellence in service still exists.

Amazing 2 night stay with my husband and 2 friends for a birthday celebration. The whole vibe of the hotel is relaxed yet professional, the hotel kindly wrote a hand written note with a free bottle of cava for my husbands birthday which was a lovely touch. Rooms are spacious and well furnished with quality items and the rooftop bar and pool is amazing. The cafe de finca next to the hotel does amazing coffee and croissants. We were sad to leave but will come back!!!

Excellent location. Nice and comfortable room. Room 207 wasn't as quiet as you expect in this price range (above some hotel equipment) Breakfast was way over priced at 27 euros per person. In 3 weeks in Spain and Portugal, the most others charged was 17e.

Wonderful hotel and staff
We had a fantastic stay at Grand Hotel Central. There was construction work just outside of the hotel so it was a bit harder to get to, but inside the hotel, the construction noise never bothered us. We could barely hear anything which means the insulation at the hotel is very good. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. They took good care of us from the check-in all the way to check-out. The rooms were clean and well-equipped. The couple of times we hang out at the rooftop bar, the staff kept bringing us with complimentary food and drinks. I wish we had more time at this hotel. We will definitely stay again when we are back in Barcelona.
