They did as little as necessary to support upon our arrival. We needed to change rooms during our stay but no attempt was made to facilitate the move. When we requested a luggage rack we were told “we did not need one”. There was a shelf for a carry on and nothing more. We needed one.

The hotel was a beautiful historic gem with my thoughtfully renovated room and a gorgeous modern bathroom. The staff at the front desk was kind, thoughtful and helpful. It was a last minute reservation on my first trip to Barcelona and I couldn’t have lucked into a better stay. The location is superb. Thank you again!!!!

Despite being in the middle of one of the most popular tourist areas of Barcelona, this hotel was quiet and comfortable. The access to transportation to the airport was excellent, and otherwise it was really easy to get where we wanted from here. Very walkable

We stayed at the junior suit. Large compared to the usual hotel rooms in this area. Close to Catalonia square and to public transportation. The only thing we didn’t like was the poor breakfast but on the second day we just went outside and had a nice breakfast at a coffee shop nearby.

Comfortable and convenient hotel right off the main walking street (La Rambla). Close to metro, shopping and restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel that is a stone’s throw from Las Ramblas and shops, also only a ten minute walk to the gothic quarter or La Raval area. Close proximity to lots of smaller, less touristy bars. A five minute walk to the Plaça Catalunya, where you can get the Aerobus - A1 or A2 airport shuttle service to Barcelona Airport.

Convenient, comfortable, with great period details
Very nice hotel, loved the period details of the building, huge room with 2 street view balconies, very convenient with metro stop about a block away. Bathroom was clean and very nice with lots of counter space. Very large armoire was great. Shutters and curtains helped keep the room cool. Would have liked AC to be a bit better- we had it maxed and the room was comfortable but would have preferred it cooler for sleeping. Mattresses were ok but not great- a little saggy- but functional. Just a couple of doors away from the hotel are good cafes for breakfast and snacks. Would stay here again.
