I can’t believe they call this place a “4-star” hotel. Yes, the location was great, but everything else was a complete letdown. For starters, the bathroom door in our room was ridiculously loud and creaky—I had to call maintenance just to make it bearable. Then the sink and shower drain were so backed up that water kept pooling, which meant another call to maintenance.
On top of all that, the hotel was downright stingy with water, and I had to keep asking for more. Housekeeping also couldn’t seem to get the towels right, so I found myself calling the front desk at least twice to ask for what should’ve been replaced the first time around.
And don’t get me started on the bed. The mattress wasn’t even properly secured to the frame, so every time I tried to sit up against the headboard, the whole thing slid down, leaving a giant gap.
To make matters worse, there was no real closet or even a proper suitcase stand. A “4-star” hotel with nowhere to put my bags? Really? I had to shove everything on the floor in an already cramped space. A decent wardrobe would have solved this problem, but apparently, that’s too much to ask here.
Honestly, I’m still stunned they try to pass this off as a four-star experience. Ridiculous.
