Nice property but would prefer to stay closer to the downtown area. Transportation is an issue in Bardstown however they worked with a local Cab company to provide affordable rides to and from the Bourbon Festival.

Excellent Choice of Hotel

Very clean and modern new hotel. Staff was great, housekeeper and desk staff helpful and friendly. Comfortable and spacious rooms with a decent mattress. Not overly noisy , hallways and no slamming doors. Good warm breakfast! I stayed here for the Bourbon Festival, they did jack up the prices a bit. Definitely stay here again in the future.

The hotel was fairly new and was very nice. The breakfast was tasty and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The only complaint I have is the overhang over the entrance was right outside my window. It took a lot of the view away. The room was very nice. I got a king with a couch. It gave me somewhere to sit and work on my computer and watch TV without having to sit on the bed. I would recommend this hotel.

I did not feel like the room was clean. What if you got rid of the carpets in the guest rooms? Wood floors would be easier to keep clean and they would look and feel cleaner to customers. The light switch functions were confusing. Plus, the bathroom exhaust fan didn't work.

Does housekeeping still make/change your bed?

My stay overall was very nice. The staff were friendly and courteous. My one question had to do with room cleanup. Fresh towels were left each morning, and the trash was emptied. But, the beds weren't made nor changed in the 3 nights we stayed. (Don't know if this is common practice these days.)

Sheets on the pull out bed had not been changed. There was hair and popcorn on them. Shower was not clean. There were not enough linens in the room to make the pull out bed. I went to the front desk to ask for a blanket and asked that the pull out be made properly. It was not. Very disappointing.

We chose this property for the amenities: breakfast, pool, and gym, all of which we used and enjoyed. The hotel is newer with modern decor, which we liked very much. All of our staff encounters were very positive. It's a good group there!
