Terrazza Corallo by Wonderful Italy
Beautiful and bright apartment with terrace in the beautiful city of Bari, Puglia.
The house is a studio located on the fourth floor of a building with a lift, and opens onto a large space furnished with essential furniture such as a dining table, a television, a queen-size bed and a chest of drawers for storing personal belongings.
A door then leads to the bathroom with shower, while on the opposite side is the kitchen, which is equipped with all amenities.
The strong point of the house is certainly the double exposure due to the two outdoor spaces, such as a small balcony located next to the bed, and a large terrace equipped with sofas, table and sunshade.
Free wifi, air conditioning and heating with heat pump will be available in the accommodation.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.
We also offer our guests authentic experiences of living in contact with the locals. If interested, contact us and we will be happy to help you create your perfect holiday discovering the beauty of Italy.
Fascinating, rich in history, authentic: Bari is the capital of Apulia and the most populous city on the Adriatic Sea. Also known as the 'Gateway to the East', the city has a solid merchant-entrepreneurial tradition and has always been a focal point for trade and contacts with the Middle East. The city's offerings are truly rich: ancient churches, romantic views of the sea, historic buildings, relaxing walks along the seafront and, finally, local gastronomic treasures such as orecchiette, focaccia or panzerotti.
The discovery of the city certainly begins in the 'Bari Vecchia' area, the oldest core where most of the city's sites of interest are located. Visiting its historic centre is a bit like stepping back in time. As you walk through the alleys of Bari Vecchia, you cross Via Arcobasso, also known as Via Orecchiette, where the local ladies prepare fresh local pasta according to ancient recipes. Among the city's main attractions are the Basilica of San Nicola, built at the end of the 11th century, a pilgrimage destination and symbol of Catholic and Orthodox culture, and the Norman-Swabian Castle, a legacy of Frederick II of Swabia, between the sea and the old town.
In addition, many Apulian destinations are within easy reach from this city, such as the city of Trani (50 km), with its breathtaking scenery, rich in history and harmonious architectural lines, Castel del Monte (55 km), one of Italy's 54 UNESCO World Heritage sites, Alberobello with its typical trulli (55 km) and Castellana Grotte (45 km). Moving southwards, Polignano a Mare, known as the 'Pearl of the Adriatic', will leave you speechless, with its crystal-clear waters and rocks embroidered with cavities carved by the sea.
The accommodation is 1.5 km from the main train station and less than 20 km from Bari airport.
