Good value with good facilities.
Good value for the price we paid. Room was a little nosiy as next to the main road but it was fine. Found a few stray hairs in the bathroom that weren't ours, but we like this hotel, it's convenient for the city centre and also has a pool and spa. Breakfast was also good, help yourself.

Lovely hotel and staff. Good facilities with the pool and sauna. We had dinner in the restaurant with was very good and reasonably priced considering the menu. A short walk to the shopping area. Would recommend if you traveling to chester

The spa access was incredible and really worth paying for, easily walkable both from the train station and into chester city centre. A great base to explore the city from.

The room was very disappointing, but the hotel was very good. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was very well organised and enjoyable, the hotel was very clean and the facilities were good.

Nice place but tricky to find. In a poor area by canal but just a 10 minute walk to Chester centre along towpath. Parking is expensive at £12 per day. It is a converted old mill and covers both sides of the canal with an internal walkway. Can be a bit confusing finding your way around and also beware of low beams and lots of stairs. Free Spa was good and breakfast also. Main meals are quite dear.

We stayed on the 21stvof September and couldn’t fault a single thing everything was lovely ,and staff are amazing , unfortunately our trains home the next day were cancelled so we booked another night , and got given another room unfortunately this room didn’t look very clean at all and we had to ask the staff to change the bedding as it wasn’t clean , they did this no problem but we were quite disappointed with the room 😞

Property was very clean. Annex rooms across the canal was confusing to walk around. TV didn’t work. Couldn’t control room heat or cooling ( found out it is controlled by hotel staff remotely). Found UK bed sizing is different than in USA - narrower and shorter. Food in dining room was fine.

We have been here before, and really enjoyed our stay again...only downside as last time is the WiFi....apart from that it's great. Staff are always friendly and eager to help.

Very disappointing. Rooms were dated and tatty, no toiletries, just a pump on the wall. Tiny showerhead attached to the tap, TV signal kept dropping out and WiFi is so slow it's almost unusable. Spa was ok but overcrowded and lots of mosaic tiles missing everywhere, we had to wait for ages to use the jacuzzi or sauna. Breakfast was minimal, no pastries, granola with very long queues for the hot food We paid a premium price but sadly it came nothing close to a premium experience. We've stayed in better travelodges.
