The Staff at the Desk was extremely friendly, efficient and professional. The complimentary breakfast was basic - scrambled eggs, tortillas, biscuits, breakfast sausage, freshly cooked waffles, many cereals to choose from and many drinks, nice ! (hey fresh waffles-how can that possibly be mediocre ? Plus 2 waffle irons Great!!!) Everything was done well, I am very happy with this place and I will stay here again ))

We were in Bastrop for a funeral. The location of the inn was conveniently close to everywhere we needed to be which was a bonus. The staff were awesome, room was clean - though some areas you can tell were neglected (dust buildup, rust) and the beds were comfy. My only true complaint were the roaches. We saw a huge dead one outside of the room and there was a tiny baby roach in the tub. You know what they say: where you’ll find one roach, you’ll find a ton.

I was nervous at first reading reviews and coming to a small town but honestly it was not bad it is more updated then the pictures idk of pool and breakfast but sleeping and the room was fine

This hotel is newly renovated and it's lovely! The new pillowtop beds are very comfortable. It's quiet. The bathroom is large and the towels are good quality. The breakfast has everything, including a waffle maker. Management aew very professional and welcoming. The pool and hot tub are very nice. They also have a gym. It's centrally located. I would most definitely stay there again. Also, the price is right. U prefer the Quality Inn to The Hampton which is overly expensive, old looking & there's no microwave or refrigerator like there is at Quality Inn Bastrop.

Check-in time was too long. Person ahead of me had 2 rooms and it took at least 10-15 mintues to get them checked in. I was prepaid thru Expedia and it took at least 5 mintues to check in. The hotel required a $25. damage deposit whichn I did not like.

Solid Update 2013-14
Check in was seamless. New paint, carpeting and flooring done well, a tribute to skilled, dedicated tradesmen and good contractors. Nice large fridge, excellent bedding and quiet, efficient air conditioner. Good breakfast bar. Very clean, other than desk top.
