Incredibly comfortable. Shower was amazing. AC worked perfectly and kept the room a great temperature. Everything was impeccably clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Oh, and the place smelled amazing!

Upon arrival, something with the system wouldn't allow me to check in. So someone from the staff had to let me in my room w/o any room keys until morning since the system couldn't program my keys. In addition, I was billed for 4 nights without warning due to the system error when I only stayed 3. I was told the overbilling would fall off as a pending transaction but I was indeed billed. In my 3 nights stay, I received no room service even though I specifically requested it at the front desk Saturday morning along w/ fresh towels. Upon returning Saturday night, I received neither. Upon taking a shower, I discovered there was absolutely no soap in the dispenser. The shade to my room was broken, so I was unable to allow sunlight into my room the entire stay.

“Rockstar” in Baton Rouge
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Element Hotel in Baton Rouge. Jennifer, who waited on us was absolutely amazing! I wasn’t feeling well and we arrived at 11:00am and no rooms were clean and avatar that time. Jennifer, after talking to the person over housekeeping, was able to get us in a room for an early check-in. While we waiting for a room, we watched football in the nice sitting area with a large screen TV. Jennifer came to check on us several times and she even offered us a pastry and a drink. She also got me a cup of ice and microwaved some soup that I had brought with me. She’s a “Rockstar” in customer service…probably the best we’ve ever seen. I would hire her in a second if given the opportunity. She is definitely an asset to your company.

Cons: Having stayed here before, we knew there was a missing decorative piece from the wall, plus the holders for it were still there. The body wash dispenser was available, but no longer attached to the shower wall holder. The espresso coffee machine at breakfast was not working. Pros: Really nice, modern hotel! Included breakfast is the best we’ve experienced. Staff is very friendly. We had left a travel cup on our last stay, we had called and asked them to “rescue” it from the fridge, and we got it back on this stop!

It was ok for the 2 night stay that we needed. Staff was pleasant enough but very unavailable and not as polite as one would expect from hospitality services. Free breakfast was convenient so that was a plus. Did not get the room I paid for but the bed was comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was nonexistent. That being said, if you’re only interested in a quick stay with a comfy bed, this is the place.

This is our second stay. The hotel seems quite new. It offers some extras like a daily beverage bar, which we haven’t been early enough to participate in. The breakfast is the best included one that we have come across in MANY different hotels . . . hot entrees individually served, many choices of breads/baked goods, a yogurt parfait bar, fresh fruits, cereals, and many beverage choices. The lobby is spacious and very attractive.

The hotel is in a safe location. The bed was not comfortable. The mattress had a huge dip in it. Felt like I was sleeping in a hole. The vinyl planks in the bathroom were loose and buckling. I tripped over them twice. The toilet paper holder was broken. The staff members were polite and breakfast was decent.
