Service was superb the staff couldn't do enough for you and our dog wants to stay for breakfast forever as plied with sausages every morning!
Food was excellent

Extremely polite and helpful staff. Warm bedroom. Generous portions.
Stayed for one night with my daughter as we enjoyed a vineyard tour locally. Very welcoming staff. Clean, tidy room with lovely tea/coffee facilities as well as water and biscuits. Breakfast was amazing too. Continental and full English breakfast available inclusive of room price.
A very nice hotel in a lovely picturesque village, with everything you will need including the pub which is across the road. Excellent breakfast and friendly helpful staff. Dining on site available if required.
We had a wonderful night's stay. The room no. 24 was large with a very comfy large bed with soft pillows and duvet. There were 2 chairs also to relax in which was great.
The room overlooked a garden area and was so quiet and peaceful.
Tea coffee and milk were in the room with an electric kettle and cups and saucers.
Room and bathroom were very clean.
Check in was quick and easy all information given.
Breakfast was amazing with everything you could want to eat in a wonderful restaurant.
It was freshly cooked as we arrived in the restaurant and tasted delicious. The staff were very nice and professional.
We used the bar in the evening and again the gentleman was friendly and professional.
There was a room to relax in with comfy chairs and sofas also outside seating areas.
We would definately stay here again when in the area.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Really good value, friendly staff. Not deluxe but perfect for an overnight stay
Lovely quiet setting and very friendly staff. Mattress was slightly lumpy and could do with replacing but everything else was fine. Food good and as said before staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. I would happily stay again when I’m next in area.
Stayed for one night in room 1. Checking in was easy and the manager was welcoming and polite.
The room was what most people would probably refer to as dated but I liked it. Lots of space, a comfortable king size bed, tea/coffee facilities and complimentary bottles of water.
The bathroom appears spacious but, and this is the only negative, the roof is quite low so if you prefer showers this room probably isn’t for you. At 5ft 2 I managed but taller then that and I hope you like baths rather then showers.
Breakfast in the morning was delicious, the scrambled eggs were the best I’ve had, which I know sounds ott but really, try them!
All in all we’d definitely come back should we get the opportunity
I arrived just as they were closing the kitchen, but they were happy to make me a sizeable halloumi salad and pour me a nice cold glass of wine.
The room could probably do with a refresh but then again so could I. It was quiet and the bed was firm and comfortable. No paranormal activity. I slept well even with the window open. Breakfast was perfectly decent.
In summary: Better than the Premier inn but not as good as Claridges.
Traditional hotel in a picture postcard village. Hotel is in a beautiful location and given its style is not fitted with the latest mod cons such as air-conditioning . However it has a lovely feel to it and the staff were very attentive and service was excellent. Food in the restaurant is superb for both evening meals and breakfast. Loved it.
