Firstly, the staff were very helpful, really friendly and very accomodating.
The threadbare carpet in the halls and landing, the faulty shower, window curtains that didn't close etc not so good. The room was clean but tired. It was a long, long way to our room with endless corridors and stairs , so any hone with any level of mobility issues would not cope,
Breakfast seemed good, although we didn't have full english my poached eggs on toast were perfect. Again ,the host for the dining room was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
The central position and parking was useful so don't dismiss it just don't expect too much luxury.
