Lovely base from which to explore Beaufort. We enjoyed a drink on the porch before dinner and the ability to walk very where. Great local history tour at national park center right across the street
This was a lovely historical house transformed into an inn. We stayed in room 10 which is on the third floor. Very comfortable bed very friendly service at the front desk. Parking was easy and you could walk to everything in town. The only complaint was that the bathroom tiles kept coming up and needed glued down. The shower was put right near a window and poorly designed. It definitely could use some TLC on the outside. A lot of the spindles were missing on the stairs and really might not be safe. A beautiful courtyard for weddings.
Check-in was easy and fun; the personnel at check-in were a pleasure and greeted us like old friends. Our room was in one of the stand alone buildings with a balcony and patio, but it was too hot to enjoy being outdoors so the inside AC and bottled water offered were great. EZ parking and great breakfast options./
I really like this Inn. It feels like a time capsule in Beaufort. The room was great bed comfortable, very quiet. The breakfast voucher for the two breakfast places a block away was good. This is an old soul place not a slick generic hotel. If you appreciate southern charm and style and don’t demand room service etc this is a great experience.
We arrived late at 11:00pm, and Pebbles was so warm and welcoming. Gave us the history of the Inn and helped us add another night to our stay. Walked us to our room and even pointed out good breakfast places for next morning that we could use vouchers at.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was huge, clean, and beautiful. The grounds were lovely and very well maintained. The staff was exceedingly kind and even gave us a little tour of the grounds. It’s a short walk to the riverfront and all that Boundary Street has to offer. Will definitely stay here next time I’m in town!
