Southeast Texas Crickets and Country peace

The property is located between Beaumont and Lumberton Texas, about a 5 min drive down Keith Road from the interstate.
If you have an RV and this is how you'd like to book your stay it will be 30$ a night but with no access to home, there will be a 50 amp plug for your camper, water connection, and Grey and black water dumping into septic!
The story of this place...
It was bought to live the country dream in 2015..
That's where it all started, and now after gifting it to family for a while, and then getting nearly lost when Hurricane Harvey took most of it away. I have been slowly building it back. I have redesigned it for a more comfortable space with an ac garage space to park, and now with an open patio and porch.
Animals are welcome. Horses as well.
Everything could use improving here.
No cabinets, and sheet rock hasn't been finished.
You're really just coming here for the very comfortable bed and undisturbed sleep while being serenaded by the frogs and crickets. You'll also enjoy the quarter acre pond and the long walk to the creek where you'll cypress trees and their knees.
We love this little place away from it all.
1200 square feet of unfinished Barndominium living.
You are welcome to plant a garden or do some work to improve our place like if it was yours. Anything improved on will be credited to your stay just ask if it is ok first and take before and afters. Would love to have a picture book and journal full of good people as this place becomes a better and better destination for happy, rested, and rejuvenated friends.

Nice safe place for a peaceful getaway to live like a Texan slowly restoring their property.
Naturally Alkaline well water. No need for a fancy water maker.
The well water has been tested and it is around an 8 to 9 ph naturally with no iron or chlorine. It can sometimes have a little clay color this is minerals. You can filter it out with one of those faucet filters. I'm just not concerned with it so don't use one. There are whole house filter canisters installed in garage prior to feeding everything.
You may collect limbs for the BBQ pit or bring some charcoal. Home made pit does well.
Please be kind, I'm trying to be as open and honest as possible. This isn't easy.

Please pickup after yourself so the next person coming doesn't have a mess to clean up.
Wash and dry the bedding and clean up.
Take trash out to the garage and I will have someone pick it up. Share pictures of how you left it and please write in a journal for others and us to read. Good or bad. It is all helpful so that we can improve.
If we can get some consistency in rentals we will have a hot tub installed.
