Restful Countryside Stay in Rural Location
The rental is a stunning converted barn, a lovely building. It has a well equipped kitchen, a large dinning table, a lounge which looks out onto an orchard. A perfect place to spend time with family enjoying good food and wine. A perfect place to unwind.

Idyllic Place to stay.
The Gite has everything you need very homely and stylish, very relaxing place to stay, but also very good for families with children. We enjoyed visiting Monet's House and gardens which was a short drive away, also close to beaches and lots of beautiful towns to enjoy. We will definitely come back again.

Great place for families!
We loved our week at the Vert-Pomme Gite. The barn and gardens were beautiful, with many thoughtful touches. The children absolutely loved our neighbours in the orchard - the friendly cows :-)

A wonderfully tranquil and stylish cottage. Welcoming owners.
The cottage is very well equipped with everything needed. While we were a couple the property would be excellent for families with small children. There is a plethora of children's books, play equipment and outdoor areas ideal for a young family. We appreciated the tranquility and easy access to quiet cycling roads that scatter the area enabling us to abandon our car and simply cycle to local villages. Outdoor seating and furniture make for outdoor eating. While, for holidays not in summer, there is a massive wood burning stove which will keep the whole property cosy. Excellent.

Great place to stay, great for kids, great for getting away
Our second visit in less than a year. We really enjoy the setting, the accommodation and the facilities it offers. Also caters very well for children with toys and plenty of outside space. Our little girl (2) loved the log train and ticket office in the garden. Location is secluded yet only 5 mins in the car to Auffay and supermarkets. Coast only 25 mins away which was perfect for us and great for cycling routes. Owners as last time incredibly friendly. Intend to visit again later in year - hopefully!

Wonderful peaceful stay - good for the soul
We had a wonderful stay with our 19 month old. House is equipped with variety of toys and books, baby equipment which helps when you don’t want to bring everything with you such as baby bath, high chair, cutlery and feeding bowls, bibs. The bird song in the morning and evenings are amazing, lovely gardens to roam around with herbs growing and fruit trees. The cows love to wander up every night and the swing is a favourite with our child. We definitely will be returning. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful.

Peaceful and tranquil Normandy Gite suitable for families
A marvellous Gite, and we have stayed in quite a few over the years.....beautifully equipped modern and tastefully decorated. Unlike many gites, it is obvious that this was converted for purpose, and planned with care and thought for visitors to enjoy. A rural and peaceful setting with a lovely village (Auffay) a few minutes away - a very good boulangerie, excellent butcher and a fine small but traditional market on Friday mornings selling lots of local produce. We think this gite would be especially suitable for younger families in the summer, with many facilities provided - down to the most thoughtful detail. We stayed with teenagers, and appreciated the open and airy aspect of the barn, the huge woodburner which kept the whole place toasty and snug, despite freezing cold temperatures outside, a plentiful supply of wood was included in the rental price as well. To supplement, in extra cold weather, the heating was modern and efficient. Comfy beds, a very well equipped kitchen (including a raclette machine - what a bonus), good internet access (for the kids a must!) and a gorgeous window with french doors opening onto a decked area which allows the sun to stream in through the afternoon and evening. Access to Dieppe (which should not be overlooked as it has some great seafood restaurants) and Rouen with its amazing architecture, churches and shopping is easy and less than half an hour. Further afield but still an easy day trip are the beaches of Normandy, Le Memorial museum at Caen, the beautiful Honfleur and in the summer, it would be a short ride to Giverny and Monet's garden (this does not open until the spring). Overall a great base for touring the area but with that added tranquility of being really rural and quite. Lovely hosts too.

Excellent house in great location
We really enjoyed our recent holiday at Les Pommiers. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, providing a lot of useful information before and during our stay. The house was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Our 3 year old was very happy playing in the garden on the swings, with all the games and waving to the cows in the field. The house is close to a small town with good shops and a train station which we used one day to go to Rouen. We were very lucky with the weather and visited a different beach nearly every day. We are definitely planning to stay at this house again as it is a great house in a very good location and there was a lot that we wanted to do in the area but ran out of time.

Homely and spacious accomodation in a beautiful setting
My wife, 15 month old and I stayed in this gite for a week in September 2017. First impressions were, Wow this is great!, and these impressions remained with us throughout our stay. The accomodation is well equipped for children with toys, plenty of outdoor space to explore and outdoor play equipment. The setting of the gite was perfect for us. We enjoy the outdoors so we were in out element. The gardens are well maintained and include a spot of topiary here and there - all maintained by Francois (the owner). The outlook from the decking is on to a sizeable orchard which was really nice. You do feel like you are 'away from it all', but Auffay - only 5 minutes away - has everything you need. There is a fantastic boulangerie (Renault) and a chacuterie/deli which we used everyday. (Stocking up for the journey home) Also nearby is a Carrefour with filling station. So this was the ideal base for our holiday - and only a couple of hours easy driving from the EuroTunnel terminal The owners... :-) Francois and Martine - were incredbily warm and welcoming, bringing home grown apples on one of the days. We enjoyed speaking with them when we saw them out and about. In summary - we hope to visit again.

Ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit einem herrlichen Garten und supernetten Vermietern,
Es war ein ruhiger ,erholsamer Aufenthalt, trotzdem ist das Haus günstig gelegen um viele schöne Orte zu erkunden. Bei Fragen waren die Vermieter stehts hilfsbereit, hierher würden wir jederzeit wiederkommen.

Un Gite a l'image de ses proprietaires : "Magnifique"
Nous avons passé un merveilleux sejour pendant ces deux semaines d'aout 2024. Le gite est lumineux, decoré avec gout et parfaitement bien equipé. Le jardin est calme, reposant, et offre de l'intimité. Les proprietaires sont sympathique, serviable, aimable. Speciale note pour la balancoire qui etait vieillisante, nous l'avions a peine mentionné que le lendemain Francois, le proprietaire en avait deja installé une nouvelle !!!!!!! Les enfants ont apprecié : les lits, le chats, les animaux, les jeux [Ping Pong, Badminton, ...] Nous conseillons aux visiteurs de cette zone de se rendre a "Veule les roses" [magnifique proche du gite] Francois, Martine je sais que vous lirez ce message, merci pour votre energie et les rayons de lumiéres qui en emane.

Urlaub auf dem Land
Die Ferienwohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet und schön gestaltet, genau wie der Garten. Die Gastgeberfamilie ist unheimlich nett und herzlich, sodass wir uns von Anfang an wohl gefühlt haben. Der Empfang und die Betreuung während der zwei Wochen durch den Vermieter François waren super. Die Unterkunft war liebevoll gestaltet und es fehlte an nichts. Da wir uns überwiegend selbst versorgt haben, war das Notwendige dafür vor Ort vorhanden.

Wundervolle Unterkunft mit sehr netten Gastgebern
Wir haben die Unterkunft von Martine und Francois als Zwischenübernachtung auf dem Weg in die Bretagne gebucht - dafür war sie fast schon zu schön. Hier kann man wirklich mindestens eine Woche bleiben, so schön ist es dort. Es ist alles liebevoll und mit Charme eingerichtet. Der Garten ist traumhaft. Es gibt viele Bereiche für die Kinder. Wir können diese Wohnung nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Toller Urlaubsort
Wir haben eine wunderbare Zeit als Familie dort verbracht. Unsere Gastgeber waren warmherzige und wunderbar sympathische Menschen. Die umgebaute Scheune war ein toller Ort mit riesigem Garten und Grundstück. Auch die Hofkatze Minou freute sich sehr über Gäste und unsere Kinder freuten sich täglich über den Besuch der Katze😃. Bettwäsche, Handtücher und auch Strom (10kwh frei )gegen Gebühr. Vielen Dank für diesen schönen Aufenthalt!

Traumhaftes Haus in ruhiger Umgebung
Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Da Francois sehr gut Deutsch spricht, konnten wir viel erfahren und haben uns gern unterhalten. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und es ist alles so wie auf den Fotos beschrieben. Gefrühstückt haben wir einige mal auf der Terrasse und konnten uns über die niesende Kuh amüsieren. Die Katze Minou hat sich bei uns auch sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist für Ausflüge in alle Himmelsrichtungen günstig. Am Abend haben wir die ländliche Ruhe sehr genossen. Das Autofahren über Land entschleunigt, man hat viel zu sehen. Sehr gerne kommen wir wieder und wir können die Unterkunft mit gutem Gewissen weiter empfehlen.
