The property is as pictured, clean and great location. Host has the property stocked with household goods. Prompt communication on any issue and am looking fwd to a return visit as it is set up to make the most of its location. I have passed on this listing to family and friends looking for a lake front setting

10/10 Understand that this is a quintessential rustic cabin in Northern Maine. If you understand that: you will thoroughly enjoy this cabin. A slice of Maine cultural history. The property manager has excellent communication and was so kind to mail my daughter’s clothing back to us! The property is everything you would ever want and need for an isolated cabin on a lake. I didn’t mind the 45 min drive to Acadia and back, as it showcases the diversity of Northern Maine (farms, lobsters/sea, forests).

Awesome hike in to the cabin beautiful cabin, right on Spruce Mountain Lake! Extremely peaceful with a divine pristine setting! The owner Christian is a super host!

This house was wonderful! Clean, easy to find on GPS, even in the dark when we arrived and a very quiet location. The view was beautiful. We saw deer in the backyard and across the lake. We utilized the fire pit on a cool night and enjoyed s’mores with our family. The small touches were thoughtful-mini bottles of shampoo & conditioner, mini bars of soap, coffee available for the coffee maker. Beds were comfortable as well. If we’re ever back in this area, I would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying here in fact wish we had booked it for longer! The views were wonderful. close to a grocery store and a 30ish minute drive to Bar Harbor/Acadia. Very private. Great place to stay when you want to be able to enjoy Acadia and Bar Harbor but also want peace and quiet. Definitely would recommend to anyone.
