Felt right at home from the very first moment I stepped into Beit Toureef. That feeling rung through till the end of my stay. I was bummed that I had only booked a one night stay. Beit Toureef is beyond just a lodging or hospitality venture, the business helps support local communities and villages throughout Lebanon. The room was sparkling clean, cozy and comfortable. The staff members were warm and courteous. Special mention to Doha & Kalsa. After checking out, I needed to store my belongings. They were happy to accommodate me, and even offered me freshly pressed juice as I waited. They take Lebanese hospitality to another level. Thank you Sassine for the great conversation. You are doing amazing work here, keep at it! I will definitely be back the next time I’m in Beirut; which is sooner than I had expected!😊

Cannot say enough good things about Beit Toureef! What a beautiful experience. Sass and his staff are exceptionally kind, attentive, and so passionate about this guest house project that gives back to the community. We also loved the rooftop patio and the bartender, Shawki. Beautiful drinks, and food!! Will absolutely recommend to all my friends who visit Beirut, and will definitely be back.

Beit Toureef is more than just a guest house. This gem offers a charming and authentic experience that truly immerses you in Lebanese village traditions. During my stay, I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Sassine, the amazing founder whose visionary concept brings the essence of Lebanon to the heart of Beirut. The atmosphere at Beit Toureef is delightful, the staff is friendly and attentive, the rooms are cozy, and the location, nestled between Gemmayze and Mar Mikhael, is perfect. And let's not forget the well-stocked pantry filled with Lebanese traditional products, adding an extra layer of local charm to the experience. A truly unique and memorable stay!

The only place to stay in Beirut
Beit Toureef is an outstanding guesthouse right in the heart of cool and hip Gemmayze. It offers a perfect location from which to explore Beirut. The house has been immaculately restored and the rooms, bright, clean and thoughtfully laid out, are a delight to stay in. The staff are attentive, friendly and work hard to ensure a pleasant stay is had. Highly recommended.

Cool Stay in Gemmayze
From the moment I started my journey, the staff were on point. Before even arriving, they checked in to make sure I was on track. Sassine greeted me warmly when I got there and showed me around. Youmna was a star, always ready to assist and making sure I had everything I needed. One thing that really stood out was how the staff were keen to help with my plans in Lebanon. They often asked if I needed suggestions or assistance with anything I wanted to do or see, making my trip even more memorable. The room? Super comfy. And the morning? It started perfectly with a delicious Lebanese breakfast on the rooftop. All in all, if you're thinking of a trip to Beirut, Beit Toureef is a top choice. Great people, a comfy stay, tasty food, and thoughtful assistance with your travel plans.

Amazing stay in Gemmayze Neighborhood!
I cannot say enough great things about this property! My whole stay was perfect. I even extended for a few nights. All of the staff was super friendly. They, along with the owner, were available 24/7 via Whatsapp for contact. The property was well-decorated down to every last detail. Sustainable products. Water and coffee station available on every floor. The location is also ideal in a hip neighborhood near many bars and restaurants! You do not want to miss out on this place!

A Charming Retreat in the Heart of Gemmayze
During my stay at Beit Toureef, nestled in the heart of Gemmayze, I was delighted by the well-renovated traditional Beiruti house that exuded charm in every corner. The attention to detail was impeccable, and it was evident that the owners had put a lot of thought and care into preserving the essence of a bygone era. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality by the hosts, who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay. They were genuinely caring, making me feel like a cherished guest rather than a mere visitor. The location of Beit Toureef was another highlight of my experience. Being situated in Gemmayze, I found myself within easy reach of various attractions, restaurants, and vibrant streets of Beirut. The connectivity was excellent, allowing me to explore the city effortlessly. However, what truly made my stay memorable were the meticulous details that transported me to the past. The scents of soap and scented oils in my room evoked a nostalgic ambiance, reminiscent of the old traditional houses that once graced the streets of Beirut.
