Superb stay.
Excellent hotel. Exceeded our expectations. Incredibly helpful staff. Everyone was warm, friendly and courteous in every department. Having worked in customer service I like to highlight those that really make a difference by name but honestly, that's tricky when everyone was so charming.

Was nice to have parking and be in safe area. Staff lovely. However the “Jacuzzi” (the brand name of hot tubs) is not hot as shares water with their main pool, which was odd. Reception attendant indicated jacuzzi means it is not a heated pool (lol!- news to us!! Lolol)

From booking I made contact with Hotel regarding my son being in a disabled chair and looking to request a spacious family room. I was told this wasn't possible and got contacted a few days later to ask if I wanted to book a 2nd room for extra space after already paying £171 for a room only rate not including breakfast. I had multiple messages from the property throughout the week before my stay asking for payment the 2nd time and each time I had to ring to say the bill was already paid. If this wasn't a non-refundable booking I'd have cancelled and booked elsewhere as they were just so unhelpful and completely unprofessional even before we stayed. Once we arrived nearly 2 hours after check in they still weren't sure if our room was ready and they allocated us a room on the 2nd floor even after I stood at Reception and asked a few times for a ground floor room to make it easier for us. Once we got out of the lifts the carpet in the hallway was absolutely soaken, the place smelt like a sewer on the 2nd floor and the wheels of my sons chair, the suitcase and my other childs feet was soaken. We then went to the room and it was the smallest most squashed room we have ever stayed in. The bathroom was absolutely ridiculous how tiny it was. We then booked the pool and the changing facilities are absolutely disgusting. Later that night we took the kids to the playroom and the place was absolutely trashed, toys broken everywhere and the playhouse had the door snapped off. Never again
