Located further from the Titanic Experience than hotel description would suggest. Water feature next to hotel full of litter. Some key staff (eg bar) poorly trained. No sign that a la carte breakfast available. Breakfast not really hot enough, some dishes empty, appropriate bowls/plates not always available, no cutlery out on table on one morning and difficult to find a member of staff to ask. Wardrobe facility very badly designed. Difficult to plug in hairdryer close enough to a mirror to be able to see to dry hair. Bathroom cold. Broken bath tap. Hot water had to be run for ages before heat came through. Toilet roll holder falling off. Cheapest toilet roll imaginable - not fit for purpose. Bathroom cosmetic dispensers very awkward to use. Absolutely not what we were expecting from this hotel. We hoped for a real treat for our Ruby Wedding Anniversary - it disappointed on so many counts. The one evening meal we had was good and well served, although staff could have been smarter, and the receptionist who booked our taxi was professional and very helpful.
