Disappointing
First the good points. Top floor seaview room have amazing views of Benidorm's Poniente beach and the bed is very comfortable. However despite the refurbishment the hotel has papered over the cracks. Lift broke for 3 days, room on 7th floor. Dirty mark on duvet. Empty containers in shower. Poor breakfast which deteriorated day by day.Toilet wouldn't flush.Disinterested staff. Keycard deactivated on one of the days when the lift was broken. Not ideal when 7 floors up.They reluctantly provided a late checkout room and a refund equivalent to around 15% of the cost which really wasn't enough and hotels.com would not get involved to get this amount increased despite many hours of live chat. I certainly wouldn't stay there again. There are much better choices in Benidorm especially for the price paid here for an upgraded room. A comic strip themed hotel run by "The Bash Street Kids"

My considering staying for a few more days but the breakfast made the decision for me. Absolute mental breakfast offering, and very badly organised, one push button coffee machine to service over 40 people. ‘Bacon’ was like hard plastic, the scrambled eggs were actually sweet! Didn’t fancy chicken fried rice for breakfast either. A lot of details missed. I definitely would not describe it as refurbed, more so a lick of paint and some loud wallpaper. There’s no real pop art inspired design here apart from the vinyl decals, certainly isn’t shown in the rest of the features.

The room was cleaned everyday but didnt have a window nor balcony felt closed in but partners birthday and they had cake and balloons in room which was nice touch. Left key in room and had to get a new one fella on desk was quite ignorant. The view from outside was lovely pity couldn’t see none of it

Only stayed 1 night after arriving on a late night flight. Check in was simple and the receptionist was lovely and helpful. Had a family room which was perfect for 4 of us. It was made up of 2 massive bedrooms so plenty of space. Location right on the beach but nice and quiet. Decor is great. Looks a bit tired in bathrooms n other areas but it was perfectly clean. No complaints at all, would definitely stay here again.

Overall thought this was good value for money. Nice location. Rooms okay, have all you need including a mini fridge and you can have a kettle if you ask for one. I had no problems with reception or room service but when I went to breakfast on the morning there were no glasses or cups to have a drink in and no attempt made by staff to provide one after I asked.

Lovely hotel. Clean big rooms. Good wifi. Fabulous location. Would be a full 5/5 but the second lift to the upper floors was out of action that was a bit of a drag.
