It could have been a bit cleaner & could definitely stand an update. My biggest complaint is having the breakfast behind a door that requires your hotel key. Is bagel burglary really a problem in Homewood?? I was going to grab some quick coffee before an early appointment, while the person with me proceeded to checkout & load the car. I'd already given him my key, so had to leave at 6:15am without much needed coffee.

It was very quiet and clean although a previous guest had colored on the both sides of the bathroom door and it had not been washed off and the bathroom sink had a huge crack in it but neither of those effected our stay. Wish there would have been extra blankets as it was a cool night

I really enjoyed my stay at Comfort Inn in Homewood Alabama. I thought I was gonna have to cancel my trip after the hurricanes. But I was still able to make it. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Good customer service. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was basic, but we were glad it was provided since my Mom had to be at her appointment at 7:30am. I would definitely stay here again.

Loud neighbors.
Room across the hall had a child and father going at it. The child was screening at her dad and the dad was cursing the child very loudly. Called the front desk snd they got it fixed but around midnight had another bout.

Lots of parking. Friendly employees. Had a few issues here though. The room smelled bad like mildew the whole time and our clothes that we had out stayed damp the whole time. Not sure what was going on there but it was weird. The bathroom shower had scrapes/stains in it. The carpet outside our room had a red stain that looked like blood. The housekeeping banged on our door for 10 minutes while I was in the shower and kept trying to open it even though we had the do not disturb sign on it. I finally had to go to the door and tell her we did not need her services and that she should have seen the sign. Might be a decent place for one night but I would not stay here again.

Hotel is clean, front desk was helpful. I love that they use large, refillable shampoo, conditioner, and lotion instead of those small ones. The room was quiet and comfortable. Really nice stay.

You get what you pay for. Property feels like it's been upgraded but with lots of little details missed. Check in was a nightmare as the only person working the front desk was busy helping a guest with an issue so front desk was unattended for so long that we waited and waited and then left finally and came back to check in since we had already paid for the room. If we hadn't paid, we wouldn't have come back. It would be good if the attendant left a mobile number to reach him or have the front desk phone be forwarded to a mobile phone. This was infuriating

It should be more clearly stated and advertised that the swimming pool is closed after certain dates. The pool is touted as a selling point and is a factor in choosing the hotel over others. It was 88-90 degrees and sunny during our stay but the pool was closed as of October 1st. Very disappointed.
