Well priced. Great value. Made very welcome and all staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Nothing wax to much trouble . The room was a great size. Smaller than most hotels but this was a positive. It made it warmer and more and welcoming . Fittings were Tina high standard and the lights and shirt were easy to work !!!!!!! The food was lovely and great value . Having found this venue I will use it regularly

An absolutely fantastic stay.
Nice big secure carpark. Lovely welcome at check -in. Good sized single room with an ensuite with an excellent, powerful shower. Breakfast (included) was excellent with quality ingredients. I wii definitely stay here again.

Ticked all of my boxes. Top-drawer.
Easy to overlook the entrance from the road, there is lots of very good secure parking. A very good welcome with explanation of dining, bar and breakfast, together with access information. Excellent modern compact room, very good bathroom. Bar and barman James was extremely professional and personable. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty with lots of choice, hot and cold and very helpful staff. All in all a fantastic stay. Several other local eateries and pubs just in case!

Great business stopoff, secure free parking, close to motorway network, spotless new rooms, very quiet (no traffic noise), full breakfast included. It's the hq of the Teachers Union, so institutional feel, but ideal for overnight stay. Thank you.

Lovely stay in a characterful Victorian property
Lovely stay. We had a clean and tidy room in this characterful Victorian property, overlooking the lovely garden. Food was excellent, with a good selection from the Bistro menu, with great service from kitchen and bar. Nice keg beers too. The signage to the property isn't entirely obvious, so be alert on approach and don't be put off by the NASUWT signage that accompanies the Hillscourt web address on the entrance.

Room cleanliness ok but could do with a bit more attention to detail. Decor dated. Noisy generator through the night so couldn't have window open. Bar food naff but bar staff and breakfast staff great service. Not so sure about some of the guests.

I had room 54. Small but cosy room. Super comfy bed. No desk to work from which was a bit tricky for me as I was there for work, although I was very kindly granted a late checkout as I had a virtual meeting in the morning of checkout. Staff are the most polite I’ve ever experienced in a British hotel! Very nice bar food. I didn’t get to try the restaurant because I turned up for a table on my second night and was told it was by booking only, which I wasn’t informed of at check in or by any info in room, and that at 7.30pm they weren’t taking any further bookings. There was only one table dining which was disappointing as the menu looked lovely! Ample free parking, poor signage. WiFi not great in my room but very good in communal areas. Would definitely return but more prepared next time😊
