Very dirty room. Had to report bed linens and covers because they were so nasty. They definitely hadn’t been changed. Staff didn’t change them for us. Just brought them to us and said throw the dirty ones in the floor. Dirty floors, countertops, bathroom.

Heat/ cool machine had mold on it. I took pictures. Bathroom seemed it was dealing with moisture problems and paint/ trim was falling and breaking up. I asked to be moved, was told couldn’t be accommodated. Unable to afford a hotel elsewhere, I stayed my two nights, but felt nauseous and almost cold like waking up each day, it wasn’t until I got back in the road and was able to use a O2 purifier that some of that feeling went away.

Basic room that was clean and was great for 1 or 2 nights. Room was fine not great but was clean and roomy. Breakfast was pretty standard hotel style with eggs / sausage / pancakes, assorted juices, yogurt, cereals and so on. It was hot, plentiful and area kept very clean.

The room was just barely cleaned in the areas that could be seen. The tub had hair in it. The blackout curtains had holes in them. Breakfast was very low quality.

When we checked in a guy was at the desk trying to get money back and that should have been our first red flag they were rude and not helping at all to this man charged a 100 dollar fee that was supposed to be refunded as soon as checked out and didn’t at now 2 days later and did not say that this was gonna be charged until we were checking in breakfast was not great shower smelt funny and slightly dirty it looked kinda sketchy outside in the parking lot and smelled like weed everyone would not recommend to stay here and I will not be staying at La quintas anymore

The property was rundown and dirty. The carpet in the stairwell was disgusting! I expected a much cleaner hotel for the price paid. Will not book here again. Staff was friendly but not enough to make up for lack of cleanliness

The stay was... ok.
It's conveniently located close to everything on 280. It is a bit behind some things but that helps with less road noise. I can see that its been renovated but the renovations look like some random dad completed them. The floors don't always go all the way to the walls. The caulking is very sloppy where they tried to seal things. The wall A/C unit had a sizable gap between it and the wall. I could see through it from across the room. The room was tidy, but not clean. The floors made my white socks black on the bottoms. There were rings on surfaces from cups, etc. The door doesn't meet the floor so you can hear everything in the hallway. I had a hard time sleeping because I could hear every door close, every person walking down the hallway, etc. Every time someone knocked on a door I walked to my door because it sounded like my door. I was alone so I didn't complain to anyone, I was able to stay the week without issue. Had I been with family, no way I would have stayed the week. Wifi was roughly 5MB. My ATT phone on 5G was getting 600MB so I just used the hotspot on my phone to work remotely. Cost was good, but if given a choice I would stay somewhere else. Front desk staff was friendly and quick.

Emergency stop
We had to stop in Birmingham for a brief visit to traffic. Relocated this hotel in the Hotels.com app. The staff friendly is very helpful and considering we were driving very large. Breakfast the next morning was excellent! Thank you for a wonderful day!
