Nice stay. Be careful of the dominitrax receptionist with dark hair. She’s either constipated or just mean. Dinner was great but its fixe prix with only one choice. Better like it. We did.

100% recommend this castle!
This place is a gem. We came here for our 23rd wedding anniversary. We swam in the lake in the afternoon sun. Then had a lovely gourmet dinner with an exceptional wine package. 100% recommend this castle!

Disappointing
Very disappointing.... room was very small & bathroom needed updating & had a cracked sink. It wasn't clear that this is a conference centre or that the lovely old rooms in the castle itself were not for general use. Lots of hotels offer conference facilities but this is primarily a conference centre with little thought to individual guests. Dinner was a set menu only which wasn't what we wanted. The setting and gardens are lovely & well maintained. Nice touch to be able to make teas & coffees in the hallway ... but the kettle had to be filled with the mineral water which seemed odd, no jug of ordinary water provided. The reception area is overloaded with things to buy even the desk, doesn't create a great impression on arrival. Overall very disappointing

Fancy looking place. Room did not feel as fancy as the rest of the hotel. No water boiler in the room, but a shared one in the hallway felt cheap, especially for such a nice place. The bathroom was clean but old.
