Nice hotel, just need to work on the basics
I was using the hotel as a business user staying in room 331. The hotel is situated in a very lovely location and the staff were friendly and polite. The room I stayed in was nice and clean. As a business user I had a challenge when using the desk as there was no light there not even a lamp. The USB charging points found next to the bed only power up if you turn the bedside lamp on. Which I only found out in the morning when I realised my phone had not charged. When I stayed there was only luke warm water from the shower or basin tap. As it was a hot day and night, this was not an issue for me. What was an issue, was that there was no air conditioning, just a cheap £9 plastic desk fan that was too noisy to sleep with on. I was disappointed in the grille/bar that there was no table service (I would have stayed for a pudding and another drink if there was) nor did anyone come and check that everything was okay with my meal.

Cant fault the place it was beautiful the only thing i was let down by was the fact that my 13 yo wasnt allowed in the hot tub. I was told he had to be 16 ive never known age restrictions to be on a hot tub

Excellent stay in beautiful surroundings
Excellent hotel stay with some brilliant surroundings. The check in process could have been easier, its all on a tablet, but still asked if we wanted to add parking and leisure club access even though this was provided with the Club Room. The leisure club facilities were excellent, clean and plenty of space. The staff were friendly and helpful and both the indoor and outdoor pool were spotless. The room was fresh, although there were some cleanliness issues room very dusty, and shower tray had mucky stains on it. The surroundings are what set this place apart, beautiful grounds and peaceful. The bar was a great place to while away tue evening

Was better than expected. Room was great had a view of the golf course and 19th hole. Lots of facilities should you wish to stay in the hotel. We went by the pool for an hour. The purpose of our trip was the cricket the next day but would definitely go back when going to the cricket again. Great experience

It was a very stressless welcome with self service check in and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. The only negative was that there was no air conditioning in the room which was very uncomfortable at times

2nd time staying with village hotel, won’t be in a rush to come back. Checked in and went swimming but came back to being checked out of my room and confusion at the desk. Kept being told I’ve not been checked in despite all my belongings being in the room and having 2 cards to my room! I was told they checked another individual into my room and gave them cards to access the room!

The hotel gave a good impression but it was not reflected in my room. It was a family room with bunk beds which took up most of the floor space. As I was travelling alone, it would have been nice to spread out a bit and not feel so Closter phobic.

Lovely hotel
We booked this hotel because it is near to the Spire hospital, the hotel was excellent, comfortable bed and super shower. My only complaint would be the cost of the pool. Because I hadn’t pre booked it was £21 per day to use the facility, which made the use of the pool very expensive
