Very clean. We were in the first floor across from the inside pool, so it was a little noisy. Also the room had this tiled area where the bathtub in the room was. Bit of an eye sore and tripping hazard. Staff was very friendly. Would stay there again!

Dazzled by the hotel and its staff
Truly an amazingly clean and comfortable Comfort Inn. The women taking care of the breakfast area make sure the dining tables are sparkling clean and the buffet is well-stocked. The indoor pool was quiet and well-maintained. Plenty of restaurants and stores within walking distance, as well as a movie theater directly behind the hotel. I highly recommend this property to anyone going to the Ellijay area.

We were put in a handicap accessible room that we didn’t need. The shower floods the whole bathroom. No way to stop that. My husband slipped and fell because of all the water. There was also no smoke detector in the room. It was taken off. We were able to change rooms without a problem. The bed in that first room was hard as a rock and couldn’t sleep the first night at all. The girl at front desk when we checked in was very unfriendly and unwelcoming.

Customer service at the front desk was not pleasurable at all from check in throughout the stay except tge staff member at the breakfast area. She was wonderful!!! The staff member that checked us in was apparently not wanting to be at work. The night shift were less than helpful.

There was never anyone at the front desk unless you tapped a bell. The rooms are very clean. The staff should warn customers that there is excessive noise if you are in a room on the first floor in the morning which disrupts your sleep.

Breakfast attendant left a sour taste
The hotel itself was fine. Good even. But during breakfast I was completely floored by the person running it. She was loud with her casual racism and negativity about everyone that she worked with. North Georgia has come too far for that to be anyone else’s takeaway. It’s a poor reflection on the hotel and the area.
