We were close to a the wedding venue so it was perfect for us. Allowed all of us to stay together from all parts of the country with room for everyone. Definitely recommend!

Ideal Location for events at The Grand Ivory
For a family reunion of siblings attending a nephew's wedding at The Grand Ivory, Cross Creek Ranch & Retreat was the ideal location. The host, Jane, responded to our inquiries before we arrived and continued communicating with us all during the process. The large home is well-decorated with luxury bed linens and towels. With 11 in our group, we fit around the custom-built dining table. A long wooden board supplied was ideal for our lunch charcuterie grazing buffet! Jane provided farm-fresh eggs for our arrival, which prompted us to have a good country breakfast the next morning! Everyone loved swimming and playing in the pool, as well as fishing from the well-stocked ponds. On the immaculate Ranch grounds, there are plenty of activities for your whole group. We all highly recommend this property!

Wonderful Family Retreat
This home was a perfect retreat for our family to spend our son’s wedding weekend. The home was immaculate upon arrival and beautifully decorated. The beds were very comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed the beauty from the front and back porches. It was peaceful and relaxing to sit outside and enjoy the scenery while listening to the waterfall in the pool. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. In addition the home was 3 miles from our wedding venue the Grand Ivory.

Great country property!
This property was great for our family stay for a wedding weekend! The property and house was exactly as described and the owner was a joy to work with. I just wish we had booked another night or two to relax and decompress after all the wedding festivities. The next time I need a getaway weekend less than an hour from the DFW area, I will not hesitate to book this property again!

Very nice place
We stayed that the Ranch for our son’s wedding. Our son’s wedding was about 20 mins away from the house. The process of getting checked in was easy and the house was just as described. The home owner was very good with communication. We had 1 small issue and she was on it. Very accommodating. I would highly recommend staying with at this house.

We celebrated our Mom’s 90th birthday. The home was beautiful and comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. The setting was gorgeous! We weren’t able to use the pool and outdoor activities due to rain and cold weather, but we still enjoyed our stay immensely.

The perfect location to gather for my dads memorial service
The house and property was perfect. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out. The teenagers had a ball fishing and kayaking. Too cold to swim but loved laying by the pool with a book. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and there were groceries available just a short drive down the road. The host was more than accommodating to all my questions as we were booking this from several states away.

Wonderful Family Home
Our family stayed here for a few days to celebrate my son's wedding at a local wedding venue. This home was absolutely a perfect get-away for our family to spend some quiet time together during the many wedding events. The home was so clean and extremely well stocked with anything we needed. The host was responsive to questions and an absolutely wonderful host - even leaving us a basket of fresh farm eggs. I would not hesitate to come here again and would highly recommend for large families - the large kitchen and living area was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay immensely!

Being only 3 miles from the Grand Ivory makes this home the perfect choice for future wedding parties. Not only is the home beautiful, but also spacious and homey. For our family, location was key. Not having to travel 30-45 min back and forth allowed for quality family time.

Perfect Stay!
We booked this location for the convenience to The Grand Ivory for our son’s wedding. It was a beautiful home and nothing disappointed. The beds were great and the bunk beds worked well for the teens. The two master bedrooms made it perfect for our crew. Jane, the owner, was amazing and communicated well with us. My only regret is that we didn’t stay during the warm months to enjoy the pool. Highly recommend and would love to return for a girls weekend.

This beautiful house was the perfect place to have our wedding party stay for our sons wedding at Davis and Grey Farms! It had plenty of comfy beds for our family to sleep and also Beautifully decorated living room space to hangout and visit between activities ! The back is beautiful and a nice place to set outside! Great getaway
Perfect getaway for us and the family. Good sized rooms and good size living room for the family to gather. It fit all of our family and kids. Pool was a good size for all the kids, they stayed in all day long. Any issue that we had, which was very minor, was answered and fixed right away. Great hosts!

The house is nice but is unfortunately marred by the host!
The 100 acres is false advertising house sits on few acres & we were under nearconstant surveillance on a family compound & having cameras everywhere. We were being texted in real time about what we were doing by the host. Trash cans are a good hike from the house. They do offer kayaks for use in the pond which is cool but there are super strict rules concerning the pool use after the pond! To be up front we were a large group of 4 families with 4 older kids & several small children who co-sleep or sleep in pack-n-plays. When we booked we made the mistake of only reading the reviews & description. Several mention multiple families staying together & the description boasts 20 place settings for meals. We believed it was meant for larger groups. We missed the max capacity of 12. Genuine mistake but completely our fault! We never hid our guest count we genuinely didn't realize it was not meant to for large groups. We met her in person & explained our mistake & offered to pay more to accommodate the children instead she demanded we clean the house spotless & leave immediately. To avoid conflict we did. We were left out of state with small children to find a place to stay on super short notice because of her fear our children would break some nic-nacs. Host repetitively complained about past guests to us & seemed hold past grudges against us. She told us she believes children are "incredibly destructive" & that she has "too many valuable nic-nacs in the house for kids to be there"

This place was amazing! So nice, clean, over stocked and just truly relaxing. We want to come back soon and stay again with our friends. Our son got married at the Grand Ivory and this location was the best! The host was very easy to get a hold of and accommodating. Cannot recommend this place enough.

This home was thought out, well planned and arranged for large gatherings. My husband and I met my daughter and son-in-law, their two adult children and spouses for another grandchild's wedding at The Grand Ivory. This home is only six minutes from that venue which was a big selling point!. The home has everything you might need for a gathering. We had a lovely time and Jane was such a great host.

We picked this property because our daughter was getting married. This property is 6 minutes from the wedding venue! It was absolutely perfect for our occasion. The owners have thought of absolutely everything to make this property perfect for your stay. We enjoyed fishing and swimming! I hosted the bridal party for breakfast. I was able to make a beautiful spread because of the space. The huge table was perfect! Leonard is such a slice of Heaven!

Graduation Getaway
My mother, siblings and their families, as well as mine needed a large place to stay for my nephews graduation! This location really fit the bill. My husband and brother-in-law were able to fish for giant bass. My mother, sister and I lounged by the pool. The kids all had a great time and explored the property. There was something for everyone to enjoy and spacious for all! Jane was very accommodating for our requests before, during and after our stay! Wish we could've stayed longer!
