I’d booked a deluxe room but received a mini room instead. The staff that checked us in didn’t even bother to explain that the deluxe room “wasn’t ready yet” but put us directly into a mini room instead. In my opinion, you should get what you paid for, and since after hours of traveling we were tired and didn’t want to wait for a room that should’ve been ready upon arrival, we settled for the mini room.
Overall the room was satisfactory. The beds were fresh and firm, the tv channels worked well and the room was clean. The bathroom was also clean but very small, shower head’s water pressure was sufficient. The wifi however, wasn’t strong enough to support much web access so that was a big con.
I’d prob stay here again if I find a nice rate, given the neighborhood and its resources and the ease of transport into downtown (if and when the Red line decides to work all the way).
