I recently stayed at the Sheraton in Needham and was disappointed on multiple fronts. The air conditioning was inconsistent — frigid in some hallways, barely working in others — and the rooms felt swampy and damp from excess humidity. Peeling paint was a clear sign of poor upkeep, and the dampness gave the space an unpleasant feel. Cleanliness was lacking; looking under the bed or near furniture revealed debris clearly left from prior guests.
Breakfast service was disorganized — staff forgot orders, failed to communicate delays, and left guests waiting without updates. The food overall was heavy, processed, and far from healthy. Location offered nothing within walking distance, and service, while polite, felt impersonal.
Bottom line: Between the humidity, inconsistent climate control, lack of cleanliness, poor breakfast service, and dated atmosphere, this hotel does not meet expectations for the price.
