Friendly staff. We very much appreciated being able to eat our dinner on the private terrace outside our room
Great location, room was real nice, staff was friendly, breakfast was great. Bathroom was really nice, but could have been cleaned more recently, but that is just being picky.
Hotel located on busy street; not for honeymooners
The hotel was clean and the best part about it was the waterfall shower head and thick, fluffy towels. The room was nice, but the neighborhood made us feel a bit unsafe. The hotel was located on a busy street, so we heard a lot of noise throughout the night (e.g., people talking, cars revving, ambulances, etc.). We wish we had known that we weren’t going to be within walking distance of the sites. I’m not sure I would book this hotel again, but one of their redeeming qualities was their friendly staff.
Had a good over night stop. Very comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast.
Both check in and check out very good.
Only bad point is when we returned from dinner at 9.45. The 24 hour receptionist was no where to be seen. Front door locked.
We followed the instruction to ring the Door bell.
But no one came.
We eventually called the hotel and a staff member appeared from a bedroom.
But it took 15/20 mins.
She argued the fact it was only a minute or two.
But then conceded to the fact the bell was not working.
This was not good when we were told that Valerie would be on the desk overnight.
Otherwise a great hotel.
This was France with a smile back on its face. The hotel staff are charming and want to make your stay a delight. The food was excellent and sourced from local suppliers. This hotel is a star find.
Perfect interconnecting family room for 5, helpful staff

Not quite what we were expecting
I booked a room with a balcony to relax on, it was however full of pigeons and once they had been scared off the balcony could not be used because all the furniture was covered in their droppings. These were not cleaned when the room was so my wife and I were unable to use it throughout our stay. Also the hotel reception is closed between 12.00 - 16.00 so you cannot access your room, which was inconvenient as we had left our wet weather coats in our room. The hotel also offered free parking which we were not given and advised to pay for on the road parking, the French guests were offered the free parking.
Do not stay here. We travel a lot and this is one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in. For starters, the hotel completely closes between 12-4PM, so even if you have a room, you cannot be there. The owners are the most inhospitable people you would EVER want to meet. When I asked a question about parking, a subject on which they misled us, the owner said, "I already told you that. Weren't you listening?" My husband uses a cane and fell down the narrow, unlit stairs because they made no attempt to accommodate him on the ground floor (elevator broken - think Big Bang). The courtyard promise is a slab of cement next to a gravel driveway.

Not as good as expected
The reception desk is magnificent. Moarking is almost impossible. The hotel rooms didn't appear to be finished. The bath didn't fill. The bed was very comfortable and with the blackout curtains we slept in.
We would not return to this hotel.
Staff was rude. Would not allow us to use elevator nor use parking next to our room which had NO cars. It was raining and would have made it easier to unload luggage. Internet was terrible and had to go to lobby. Would never stay here again!!!
Place was spotless staff was great good location. Our room was unusual as we paid for terrace but it was on parking lot. Our only complaint We were lucky to find parking on street
A lovely hotel - clean, comfortable and welcoming. Our host, Anne-Olivia, who is one of the owners, was wonderful. She made us feel very welcome, and spent time ensuring that we were well settled. A tip for travellers - buy the home-baked breakfast selection, it is well worth it. In the morning, we were greeted by the day-shift representative, Marianne. She went above and beyond in making us feel welcome. This hotel is outstanding
