Breakfast was average poor quality bacon. Coffee was terrible. Hotel needs to empty the litter bins on property grounds - overfilled leading to Litter in gardens
Me and my mum had a lovely stay here. The rooms were excellent and a taxi to Leeds Centre was between £9.40 and £13.40 depending on the time. The grounds were lovely. Pub had a lovely open fire and a singer on guitar. You could have beeakfast in your room. All around a good experience.
Went to a wedding in Leeds. Had a pleasant overnight stay at Westwood Hall. Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious with a large bed. Breakfast was good with a large selection of hot and cold food. Overall a short but enjoyable stay at Westwood Hall.
We have used this hotel on a number of occasions and never been disappointed. Our room was clean, well maintained and welcoming. The bathroom was also well maintained and unlike many hotels had a shelf for personal items along with coat hooks behind the door.
The breakfast had a wide variety of choices for all tastes and again well presented and regularly replenished. The staff were welcoming and efficient.
Our only concern is that since our last visit more and more dogs have appeared and owners insist on encouraging them onto chairs in the carpeted reception area and with the best will in the world accidents do happen.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and recommend this venue which has the added facility of a regular bus service into central Leeds.
Very comfortable room that was spotlessly clean. So much choice for breakfast with hot and continental buffets. As a single female guest I felt very safe.
I liked the hotel very much
Lovely room and good value
Only down side italian i think waiter
Quite rude
Never smiles and moaning when i asked for hot chocolate at breakfast
We appreciated being able to have the dog with us just for a few hours until we could drop her off elsewhere for the evening and night.
We liked the fact that there was a lift to the room.
The hotel and room were well heated, which was lovely.
It was good to have a bath tub.
The room was recently redecorated (apart from very visible large scuff marks on the bath tub) and smelt of new carpets.
The window opened, which was good to air the room.
We would stay again but in another room because our room was above the entrance to the hotel, where people congregated to smoke and laugh late into the night. I totally understand that there were parties being hosted, I trust that not being directly above the foyer will be quieter.
Breakfast was adequate. There was a label for salmon but no salmon was on display on the buffet. My tea arrived after my partner had finished his breakfast, the delay being presumably due to the fact that it wasn't the standard English Breakfast tea, which is offered pretty much on arrival.
It was great to have free parking onsite, at walking distance to the entrance.

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Staff & service
The room was ok but the restaurant staff and cleanliness was nowhere near the standard you would expect for a four star hotel and the preported excellence of the hotel
We went for dinner in the on site restaurant and were given dirty menus next to a wall that had food on it and the staff were to busy talking to know which part of the process they were at as nobody came to take a drinks order and then the waiter was surprised when we asked for drinks before ordering food .
When we finally got our food the starters were very average and the main course was very very poor the beef bourginion was more like a cottage pie filling with some large chunks of beef chucked in and the chicken supreme came with the same red wine based beef gravy.
Working in the industry I never remove the service charge but on this occasion I most certainly did and when asked to fill out a comment card I had barely finished writing this when the manager of the restaurant was trying to take it off the counter in front of me so all in all not the best experience
Good hotel - but check if there's a wedding on....can affect noise levels

Service waiting for meals to be delivered from hotel restaurant to stables bar food was cold and no egg on my gammon meal by the time it arrived I had ate most of my meal
We have now stayed at the Weetwood Hotel twice in the last 4 monts as our son is a student/football player with RIASA. The hotel is comfortable and convenient. We especially love Stables pub and the staff there as they always make us feel at home!
Cant wait to stay there again!
