When I booked, I did see that the property is "pet friendly". I do not travel with a pet but I was not concerned about it. i did not think that would mean that there would be dust and dog hair all over the baseboards. There was even a spider web above the entrance door on the inside of the unit. The place needed a serious cleaning and dusting. I also did not think that would mean that the sofa and loveseat would be scratched up, obviously by a dog. I did not even sit down because thinking about how much dog hair was in the furniture grossed me out. I will never stay at a pet friendly place again. I suggest that you reserve some units for those of us who do not have pets or like dog hair. Also, the units have no sound proofing. Too noisy. We will not be back.

Our villa was clean but had a distinct smell, not anything horrible, but took time to get used to. Some air freshener would have been nice. The sounds from up stairs and next door interrupted our sleep, I guess the walls and ceiling are a bit thin. It is a very nice resort, the staff was great and the grounds and amenities are great. We would stay here again but maybe in a different building.

My biggest complaint was that there was no notification about needing a code to enter a gate. We’ve stayed at this property before when there was no gate. It would’ve been nice to have either been emailed the code, or at the very least, told that you would need to call and get a code for the gate. Also, the walls are apparently paper thin. We were unfortunately on the bottom floor, so every normal step our upstairs neighbors took, we heard very loudly. Also, their normal conversation could be heard quite easily. The property is clean and located in a beautiful spot, but this is twice we’ve been kept up late because we could hear our neighbors. We won’t be staying again

Westgate Branson is a beautiful property. The pool area is so unique and fun for all ages. It would be a 5☆ for me if not for a couple issues. Our washer in our unit broke the first night as well as the water in the complex was off due to a line break. So we couldn't shower after the pool or use the restroom for 12 hours. All in all we'll be back next year.

Been to many times shares in Branson. By far this was the best! The rooms have been redone and are very comfortable. The pools and amenities were top notch! The view of the lake was spectacular. Staff was great as well. Highly recommend!

Great views but dirty.
Great views from screened in patio, though patio and screens were very dirty. Room was recently updated, though floors and baseboards were dirty. Comparing Branson Westgate Lakes with Branson Westgate Woods I would definitely recommend Branson Westgate Woods. There is much more to do, see, and staff are more involved with Guest activities.

Property is very clean and noise levels were average. Pets are allowed so be prepared for barking dogs. Would highly suggest getting a room with lake view. About 15 minutes away from food. May want to stop by and get snacks before coming. No room service but can get coffee and towels from front desk. Overall, liked the property.

There was a water main break (what we were told) therefore no one could shower, use the bathroom, etc. Walls were super thin so you could hear everything in units near you and from outside.
