Very friendly pub, hard working staff. We had a meal in the pub, excellent. The room was amazing, everything we needed.
If we are ever in this area again, I will come back.
It’s peak season with book festival but still felt very dear for such a small room and the 10am check out time I feel is very poor to claim as reasonable especially on a Saturday mornknf
Friendly service . Very clean and nicely presented place.
Lots to do in the area and staff happy to help with ideas. Nice little touch was a research area with comfortable chairs and leaflets , about the local area, to go through. Beer garden is a great place to relax.
Would definitely be happy to return
The staff were really friendly throughout our stay and the room was warm and comfortable.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The hotel room was quite basic and not very well laid out, I thought. Bed was comfortable. Compared to others I stayed in during the same week this was a much lower standard but a very similar price.
Staff were really nice.
Very warm welcome, Room was clean and tidy .
I arrived late but had collected the key earlier in the day, which was no problem at all.
Breakfast was continental, but plenty of choice
Lovely friendly clean pub on route to Brecon..Nice food ,great breakfast and comfortable bed. Perfect pub great service and will definitely stay again...Good team atmosphere from the staff..Well run establishment with attention to detail..Good value too..Book with confidence..!!
Food lovely , staff lovely on the first night, lovely evening.... breakfast no gluten free bread although we were told they did have it on arrival. Rooms lovely.
It's nice to stay in a pub, you have dinner and a few beers and just have to walk upstairs to bed, no driving necessary. A lovely historic pub with a pretty and quite large beer garden which is perfect for summer evenings watching the sunset. It was a bit warm when we visited and a fan had been left in our room which was fantastic. The room was small but we had expected that so no problem for us. There are 2 car parks for guests of the hotel. The included breakfast was good. We tried the pizza for dinner which was really yummy. Staff and patrons friendly and helpful.
