Meadowbrook, a peaceful and leafy suburb on a bend of the Logan river. It has accessibility to major public transport and it is full of parks and green spaces! A biodiverse environment with flora and fauna with natural environment inhabiting beautiful birds and cockatoo in your yard. This is a suburb where you can hear the birds in the morning and walk the dog around to the various parks but be a short jaunt away to Brisbane CBD or other metropolitan areas. Neighbours are friendly and suburb is safe. Close to the beach (Gold Coast) and the mountains and rainforest (Mt Tambourine). New Pacific motorway exit makes getting to Meadowbrook even easier. Minimal motorway noise. Close to Logan motorway as well. Great central location. Logan Hyperdome is 5 minutes by car and has more shopping.

Our house is not suitable for parties and events. The neighbour will call either me, our local security patrol or the police if noise is excessive after 10pm.

We had issues with guests using our house for parties before and Airbnb has helped us to install a noise monitor (For more info please search MINUT online) in our outdoor area. It is camera free and simply monitors sound level in the area. It does not listen in on conversations or capture any data. This device is fully integrated with AIRBNB and when excessive noise (over 80 dBs) is detected during our quiet hour (10 pm - 8am second day), an alarm will be sent off to you through Airbnb to remind you to keep the noise down and move your activities inside our home. If the noise persists, I will try to contact you first and resolve any issues with you. If I cannot reach you or the noise persists after our call, the local safety patrol or police wil be informed and further actions will be taken.

Unlike hotels, we do not have an onsite cleaning service and our cleaners usually make their schedule a day before. We have a standard check in time of 3pm which ensures that our cleaners have enough time to make our home nice and clean for your stay! If you need an early check in, please contact me at least a day before your planned arrival day and we will try our best to accommodate your request! Unfortunately we will not be able to guarantee any early check in request on the day of your arrival, thank you for your understanding in advance!

LATE CHECK-OUT REQUESTS

We understand that sometimes you really enjoy your time here with us and would like stay a little longer! However, we sometimes have guests coming to stay on the same day you check out and unlike hotels, we do not have alternative rooms for them! Therefore it is important that all late check out requests should be made AT LEAST THE NIGHT before your departure to ensure that our cleaners have plenty of time to finish their work! If you need to check out after 12pm, an extra HALF DAY rate will be charged through Airbnb and the payment must be made on and before the night you check out for your request to be approved. We will not accommodate late check out requests on the day of your departure. Without a late check out confirmation, our cleaner will commence their work at 10am and they will have access to our property for housekeeping.

We provide all our guests with essential starter supplies to make your stay more enjoyable. Complimentary supplies include: 1 set of bed linens for each bed, 2 towels per double/queen/king bed, 1 towel per single/sofa bed, 1 tea towel, coffee + tea + sugar + milk, 2 toilet rolls per toilet, 1 bath mat, 2 hand towels and shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, bodywash per bathroom. There are also a few other cooking supplies provided in our kitchen. Please note these supplies are not intended to last for the whole duration of your stay but are provided to avoid the need to rush to supermarkets immediately after your arrival. If you need extra supplies, please arrange with us prior to your stay to avoid delivery costs! If you would like to request mid-stay supply delivery, please contact us and we are more than happy to help!

Property was overall clean but there still needs to be some painting and maintenance completed. We could not get the television to work. A brush and shovel and a broom would have been helpful if provided. The outdoor seating area is not able to be used for children or those with limited mobility. A smaller table and chairs on the back deck would have been better. The rubbish bin was already half full so we could not dispose of all the rubbish that we accumulated during the week effectively. I understand the need for extra precautions and security with the check in process, but it became very tedious for those that have limited computer skills. The host was very prompt at communication and helped a lot. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the house was fit for purpose and in the right location for us. If maintenance is completed then I would stay there again
