Very clean hotel with Nice staff!
Extremely clean rooms and the staff was very nice. Affordable with a quick check in process. Me and my teenage daughter felt very safe as there are cameras in every hallway that are monitored downstairs. Our room had a refrigerator and microwave which came in handy. The location is much more quiet than the other hotels located right beside the interstate in the same area (we’ve stayed at all of them at some point). The rooms are pretty basic, with only soap provided (but we read reviews in advance and were prepared for that). The beds and pillows are very firm, but we are ok with that. The only negative feedback is that the lobby, elevators, and stairs had a very strong cigarette smoke smell. I’m assuming the first floor is for smokers. We stayed on the second floor and couldn’t smell it there. I would have given five stars if that smell wasn’t so bad. Regardless, we will stay there again!

There was smell of some sort of smoke through property. The safety lock in the room had been broken (by force) and not repaired. The mattresses were thin and very soft. Overall, not clean rooms or common areas. The walls were also very thin so little sound insulation. The rating on this site was clearly inflated.

For the price it is an excellent value. Clean and updated rooms. Be prepared to bring your own shampoo but they do have soap. No coffee makers in the room. Firm but comfortable beds. Awesome choice for a break from the road.

This is probably an older hotel that was renovated. Price and location was great. Lots of places to eat, Walmart and other shopping right next door. I would give it 2.5 stars.

When we walked in it smelled like a Smokey saloon. No greeting ever as we entered. No amenities…. Like ice …no shampoo etc.For the most part it was quiet. How did it have high reviews? I chose wrong.

If you need a low frills, low priced place to lay your head, there are much worse choices. The area was safe, and the room was clean, and the staff was friendly. Replace the sorry pillows though.

Fast check in. Again as a solo traveling woman, always surprised when consistently given a room by steps. Sigh. Bad smell in room, maybe old smoke or dirty water, I don’t know just bad. Bed was very comfortable and room got cold. Blackout shade didn’t really blackout. Have stayed here before and will stay again, just little things that could help make a better experience.

Motel 6 Where Pets are truly Family.
We enjoy traveling with our pets. We chose Motel 6 in Bristol VA because they really welcome pets. No additional charge for well-behaved pets. At Motel 6 pets really are treated as family.
